I'm curious....Was this a rumor or did they have some really great unadvertised specials during that time? If they did, what all did I miss out on?

Boy, for those that have them, Meijer was the place to be this morning. Got a Portable DVD for $89. Two kids games for $3.75 each--Hi Ho Cherry-O and Don't Spill the Beans. Then I got a pack of Yu-Gi-Oh cards for $3.50 and a 2L bottle of Mt. Dew for .69 to round out my total to $100 so that I got the $10 reward on future purchase they were offering. That place was CRAZY!!!

FYI: Meijer is giving away $10 reward off future $25 general merchandise purchase. You must spend $100 today or tomorrow in order to receive this credit. This was completely unadvertised, but I got the deal there early this morning. It just prints out with your receipt. Hope this helps someone.

For anyone with a Meijers around (midwest chain), they are advertising the Apex 5" portable DVD player for $88 BF. Even better deal. I think that is the only thing I'm going out for BF this year from what I've seen so far. :) I did some research on the brand at epinions.com and it seems to have good reviews. Natasha
