Oh wow, the article mentions that no other fires have been reported, so I wasn't aware. This one was bought through Amazon. Be careful all!! My neighbor told me his brother bought two for his twin 11 year boys. One of the boys hit a crack on the sidewalk and was launched from his hoverboard breaking his elbow. Glad none of my kids asked for one!

Are there ads like BF for CM?

That's an amazing deal, but I really hate to gift a code!

Not surprising. I went to Walmart last night and it was empty. I was shocked to see it so empty...they still had tons of stuff sitting around that had sold out online. Next stop was Meijer, and I think I could count the number of people in the store. Completely empty! Target had a lot of people, even at 10 pm. They had everything still in stock that I wanted. Pleasantly surprised with Target, as always. Walmart's online fiasco hurt them. I went to Menard's this morning. They were the busiest store I've been to so far. Not opening on Thanksgiving didn't hurt them! I'm not opposed to shopping on Thanksgiving, but I would like to see it go back to the way it was before...stores opening early on Friday. Now Walmart is doing Cyber Monday on Sunday! I guess they really need to make up $$$ for their debacle. Also, the deals weren't that great...that's probably the biggest indicator for lackluster sales!

I'm not sure I even want one...just getting distracted by the low price!

Can you price match and then use Cartwheel? Walmart has it for $84.99. Is that how you got it so low? Are there any deals on the fun packs? I don't see them in the ads or am I missing them?

I started BF shopping years ago. Way before Facebook and sites like GottaDeal and when deals weren't widely broadcast. Now it seems to me that the ads are just recycled from previous years. I guess stores know that regardless of what they put in their ads, people will come. People will pay whatever the price is because after all that's the BF mentality. This year, the first in over a decade or two, I'll be shopping online. There's nothing in the ads that entice me to stand in long lines and fight the crowds. It's a sad day for me...I feel like this is the end of a shopping era! I think the sales leading up to BF will be as good if not better. Just really, really disappointed this year and not too hopeful for next year either! So talking it over last night with my husband, we decided next year in lieu of gifts, we're taking a family vacation. I think the great deals are finally behind us...and we're starting a new tradition!

I'm disappointed in the price as well. Not overly impressed either. Certainly not worth the wait.

I've ordered on BF on their website and never occurred any problems. Except the one year, that prices were wrongfully put on sale...a couple of my orders went through and a couple were cancelled, but I can't fault them for that! It's been my experience, that they only make so many of one item available at a time. So if it shows out of stock, keep refreshing until it comes back in stock...it usually does later that day.

Walmart is being ridiculously slow!
