i didn't go to walmart at all today either!!! It is time Walmart learns that they cannot control everything in retail America. (not that slightly lower sales on black friday is gonna make a big difference). However, I do shop there. I do not like Walmart but I shop there anyway. Walmart is a bully. They are a bully and are not good for our economy. plus they treat their employees terribly!

If it is the same one i got a while ago, which i think it is, I took it back cause i couldnt find any discs to work in it. It required 4x speed discs, which was nearly impossible to find them then(prolly 2 years ago.) They are prolly cant be found now, they are all 16X now with a few 8x still on shelves. So unless you are willing to spend months trying to locate some 4x dvdr, take it back like i did.

Anyone get the one at Menards. It was a Curtis, and it is great. It was only $57 with no rebates. Was this even advertised?

Spent about $215 and got stuff valued at about $700 all together! Did not go for any big ticket items but got some good deals on other stuff.

you can buy it on Walmart.com on BF. I bought this product as our first dvd recorder. We had a very hard time getting dvds that would work in the thing. Im not talking +/-, rather they would only take 4x speed discs, which was hard to find then and would even be harder to find now, since they are most 16x discs now. so we took it back and got a philips one from CC and it has been great. so unless they have made some changes on this thing i would steer clear of it.

Is it just me or are the Ads seeming a little not-so-good. A lot of items are close to regular price and there isn't any real good deals. BB and CC have about the best deals offered on BF, usually Walmart and Staples do too, but those both were dissapointing. What does everyone else seem to think about BF 2006?

I was wondering.... at what age to kids stop beleiving in Santa? Is there a normal or average age or is it just when they figure it out?
