Instead of having another basket laying around after the gift is unwrapped, what are some other "baskets" that are useable. I've seen popcorn buckets for the movie themed ones, but there has to be more!

The second generation comes out on 10-20, is anyone thinking of giving the echo dot as a gift? I'm thinking my brother would love this, but am a little confused. Do you need an amazon music account or some other monthly account to use it? Is it worth the $50?

I'm thinking one of these would be a good birthday gift for my mom- Dec 24! I know she would love a "relaxing" basket! Nail polish, manicure tools, bottle of wine, slippers, candle... whatever else comes to mind. Thanks for the great ideas! Keep 'me coming!

Generally the 'super' stores (bigger ones!) are the best bet. They will be more crowded, but have a better variety. A few years back, I went to the smaller meijer on one side of town and found that they didn't have any of the clothes deals that were listed. The electronics were there, but in much smaller quantities too! Since then we have been going to the super meijer on the other side, and love it! I'm sure other stores are very similar.

With new models of iPads always coming out, do you guys think that they have an older model iPad mini for cheaper? I know they usually have buy one and get an $xxx gift card, but not sure on older minis. I saw an earlier thread that mentioned refurbished models are good too. Are those shipped in the original box with plastic wrap? Odd question haha! just wondering if it's obvious that it is refurbished.

Most stores have some sort of sale that weekend. I'm not completely sure on Hot Topic or VS specific deals though. I would definitely wait and see what they have going on around the holidays. I imagine VS or Pink would have a sweat pant deal! That is one of their most popular items.

We started decorating the outside today. The rest will be done on Veterans Day. It's already getting a bit too cold to be outside and enjoy it. The inside decorations will be out up on thanksgiving weekend. Tis the season to be jolly... Falalalala

Menards had a 6ft one for around $40 I believe. It was with their fall/Halloween decor. Our store had a bunch left when we were there yesterday. Def worth checking out if you have one in your area.

I'm hoping they come out this week! I do have to say, I'm hoping some big ones do come out on Veterans Day (nov. 11). I'm off work, and planned on putting lights on the house while the weather is decent.

I am the exact opposite of dylansmommy. I usually go with a friend, but this year I'm thinking about going alone. When I'm with a friend and drive together, I'm stuck going to stores I'm not getting stuff from and then miss out on door busters I wanted.

Won my first one this year! I'm hoping it's not freezing cold so I can wear it on Black Friday. I live in the south suburbs of Chicago, so that is probably not going to happen.
