Candy, gift cards to starbucks, itunes, and mcdonalds, and whatever else my husband and I come up with. We do put socks in our children's stockings but they are cute or funny socks like last year my teenage daughter got wonder woman socks with a cape on the back, my teenage son received the super man one's, can't remember what the youngest 2 received but I'm sure it'll come to me. . .they have to be cool socks not just regular everyday socks

I've been thinking about purchasing several Visa gift cards to shop with instead of using my debit card just because of the security aspect of things. . .just a thought, haven't totally decided though.

Love the design and colors. . .good choice!

Target has their halloween and Christmas items out at the same time. . .went to walmart and they are starting to put their Christmas stuff out as well.

All of it sounds exciting. . .I'll have to pick which one I want to do, probably the ornament exchange.

Picked up a couple ps vita games for $5.98 (minecraft, lego chima, angry birds star wars, and lego marvel super heroes).

Hoping for a sale price on the Lego Dimensions for the XBox One (fingers crossed, but may not happen especially with it just being released this month) my youngest son would LOVE that game!!

This year I have started a little later than I like too. Normally I pick things up from the day after Christmas until Christmas Eve (so year round) but this year has been different. I have although picked up a couple things and just started a layaway as of Friday, so I'm getting there.

Legos are always requested. . .at least in my house anyway. But I think the new lego minecraft sets are a good choice.

Toys r us has the sign up for the 2015 holiday toy book on their website today.

I can't wait for my 7 and 10 year old to open their ipads, my oldest daughter to open her iphone, my oldest son to open his suitcase with cash, and my husband to unwrap his new golf bag.

Just curious to know how everyone who has children that still believe in santa, how do you operate regarding gifts. . .by that I mean does santa bring all the gifts and therefore no gifts get put under the tree until Christmas eve night OR does mom and dad give gifts and santa brings the big gift(s)?

I am not done shopping yet but I have wrapped 4 gifts, lol!!

My husband was in line this morning at 6:30, he was 3rd and they only had 5 TV's. He was able to get the Lego Friends for our daughter also.

What exactly is Bluebird? Is it a credit card, if not do they charge you monthly. I guess I'm just a little skeptical. . .wondering whats the catch, what do they get from doubling my savings catcher amount? Just curious. Guess I'll do some homework on it
