I ordered everything I wanted from Wally World when the sale went live on Wednesday
- PJ's, socks and undies for the grand
- Ice maker,
- Portable heater
- The $98 tv
- Rubbermaid containers
I went out BF morning for poinsettias and batteries from Lowe's and also left with a 3'-4' live tree
... Then stopped by Wally World and picked up more PJ's, socks and undies 
, Otter box cases, men's slippers, mini ornaments, children's books, young men's body wash sets...
I must say, pulling into the Lowe's parking lot at about 6:20 on BF I saw a bunch of people walking out with a cart of poinsettias, but looking across to the Target parkin lot I could see there were not a lot of people out shopping... apparently this was the experience from others as well...

Poinsettias and batteries is what I wanted and they are both up a bit in price, but not much... I wasn't even going for batteries this year, however, my adult son said he and his son will need some for sure...

OSJL sounds like a good deal, but they have nothing like that in my neck of the woods
... Idk the last time I've been in a Best Buy to shop as I don't seem to finds good deals with them... The little drugstore chains Walgreens and Rite Aid in particular, don't have appealing deals anymore and they were always staples during BF... I must admit, Amazon is still a big provider of goods for me... I still have Verizon for Wi-Fi and my cell phone...

My mom’s favorite coffee… I ordered it as a subscription and have it delivered to her every 4 weeks… I live in NY she lives in NC so I can’t actually go pick it up for her…the good thing about a subscription is she’ll always have her favorite coffee without having to go out looking for it in stores (at almost 70 yrs old) and I can change the time between deliveries. I do it with coffee, but I think this would work with other items for college students or new moms/dads.

Yeah, with increased prices it’s not the same as years past… of course some of my yearly purchase items have increased, not a deal breaker as it’s to be expected, but I definitely notice the increase…I’m so glad all of my children are grown and I only really have to shop for the grand… but I think it really depends on your needs, mine have definitely changed and I BF shop now out of tradition (and because I like saving money).

My son is a brick layer and I remember him saying how he has to buy lunch almost everyday because he doesn’t have a way to heat up leftovers working at the various sites. This is something I’m strongly considering buying for him.
