Clothes for myself! That has been the biggest deal to me... I feel like clothing and shoes are always the better deals since they want to move as much merch before January when they will need to make room for the Spring stuff... I walked through Dollar General's toy section on Thanksgiving to see if there was anything worth stopping in for on BF and I decided I would forgo a stop there for a nap before my g'son came over

HD and Lowe’s for poinsettias and batteries is a must!! I also miss having paper ads from the huge TG day newspaper… I have no if the sale ads are even in the paper anymore in my area.

That said, I’m seeing fresh turkeys currently for sale at Trader Joe’s with use by or freeze by dates of December 1st. As long as your refrigerator stays at least 40 degrees F or lower, a turkey for use on November 28th should keep fine.

So I’ve never let a turkey sit in the fridge that long prior to thanksgiving… I’m assuming this is not your first rodeo with a turkey and therefore it does not spoil thawing this far in advance… is this because of the dry brine? I am now thinking about getting my turkey tomorrow instead of Saturday when the stores will be extremely crowded because of your post…

With each passing year, I miss BF at Walmart pre 2020
all the third party sale items are kinda annoying… Times have changed, but I like the old school sales ad where we could actually turn the page and not do so much scrolling of almost endless products…
