  1. I think so, I got one for Stepmom and she opened it and it works fine. How were you able to lay it away I thought Lay away was not available during the sale?
  2. Picked up one for Stepmother. She opened and it works fine. It does not have a CD rom drive which I thought I would need to link to her printer but I was able to download the drivers without it. It works fine but I wonder how everyone liked the one for the later sale that was $178.00.

    wrist bands?

I got the touchscreen laptop for my stepmom without the wristband. They had them in Sporting Goods went to that department there was one person in line ahead of me. We were in and out in 20 minutes! They had a pallet of the laptops in sporting goods. The next one up at 8:00 was the one for $178 and they were in electronics but we did not want to wait for them but that was a good price for the specs listed.
  4. They seem bitter but you have to admit it was smart marketing on Wal-Mart's part.
  5. Same at my store. The associates were not aware of the sale until they arrived. I got the items I needed and put on layaway. I can store it there until the 13th and then pick up when my son is at school.
  6. Thanks but the question was for the presale on the 22nd. I did not see anything regarding lay away being closed on the 22nd but I wanted to confirm. I'll ask when I go in on the 22nd.
  7. Does anyone know if you can lay away for this event? I'd like to take advantage of that if I can but if not I will have to purchase and hide the items.
  8. Thanks...yes others chimed in and helped me to get a different understanding.
  9. Everything I need will be at Wal-Mart so I will be headed there for my shopping! So glad I do not need to price match!
  10. Everything I need is at Wal-Mart so I will be there @6 on Thanksgiving!! I will not need to price match!
  11. I hope they have sufficient stock of the Skylanders items. That could get messy otherwise.
  12. What is the difference between the two? The general PM policy works in conjunction with the other. It makes sense to have a Christmas policy since it happens once a year specifically lists exclusions and works in conjunction with the other. It does not state one supersedes the other.
  13. What are BF ads considered if not Christmas Ads? BF ads fall under the Christmas Ad match policy....

    gamestop online?

Does anyone know if they will price match? I may use them as a backup for the Infinity set if they price match.
  15. If you all think they will honor other store pricing try it, you may get lucky and a manager approves it or you may not and they tell you BF is excluded. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I will be going to both for different things on that Thursday so it won't matter to me either way if they hold firm.
  16. I got mine in the mail the week of Halloween. It came with a Skylanders Swapforce Poster and a gift card. We spend a lot of money there, they were simply giving our son a headstart.
  17. That makes no sense when the starred area specifically states not matching BF ads. Christmas Ad Match or Normal Price Match are subject to exclusions at their discretion and they have specifically excluded BF ads which is what people would be price matching on Black Thursday/Friday. I am not sure how anyone can believe otherwise.
  18. I will be there because they have the Skylanders Swapforce and Disney Infinity for less than $40 each. I need to get both. I will probably show up @ 6 or 7 hopefully the lines won't be long.
  19. Nope WM is excluding Black Friday Sales as well. Look at the starred area. http://i.walmartimages.com/i/if/hmp/fusion/26615-38076_ChristmasAdMatchLP_POV_Eng.jpg
  20. I love the fact that they put the burden on the reader to "make them aware" should anyone else post or have possession of the ad. Do they pay finders fees for such information? Whatever....
