By the way I started this thread guys! Time and time again I strongly advised you guys not to waste time here! Dont waste any more of your time by complaining to the corporate office etc. I went this route by complaining to various consumer protection agencies, but it was a waste of time, nothing happenned. Move on with your lives and post messages next year so that it is helpful for first timers

I hope some guys here dont work for CompUSA Myself and 5 of my friends went to CompUSA last year, I was No 1 in the queue.I dont have the time to type what exactly happened because it is a long story but the bottom line is that all of us who were standing there since 11 came back home the next day empty handed.Some guys who bought small items like router never got their rebates back!

Have you EVER got a rebate cheque from Comp USA unless you call them repeatedly? Please see my thread in the 2005 section- The whole fiasco is in there! My strong advise is Go to a better place BB,CC etc

Hey Guys I am a Black Friday shopper.I was here in this forum last year and I went to Compusa at 2am for the advertised Daewoo 42 EDTV for $1600 Myself and my buddy were the first people there.We got the first and second tickets. They open the store at 6pm and we go to the counter and pay for it.We got the receipt and then they tell us that they had 2 set and they went missing/could not locate them. Then 2 families come at 9pm (they were not in the the line at 2am to 6am) They were know to the salesmen and they bought the 2 EDTv's. We tried to protest but the manager assures us that they have plenty of Daewoos in the Godown and that we can pick it up later. We went back home and they told us later in the evening that they dont have any in the godown and we had to wait for weeks-to cut the long story short -after 60 days we called to see what was going on and then the manager told that the EDTVs are ready. We get a pickup truck and go from PA to Delaware(Where the store was located) then they tell that the Tvs are not daewoo but some! malaysian brand The saga went on,we complained to the Better Business Bureau but nothing happened and at the end after a struggle we got the money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN COMPUSA ice
