I'm wondering about this as well

Is this the XL? I'm assuming so....

I see some mentions of Leap Pad for the younger children and earlier in the year I had looked into getting one for my grandson but the reviews were horrible. The battery was the reason for the bad reviews. This was during March and I couldn't find any Leap Pads on the shelf - I'm guessing they had pulled them because of the battery issues. I have an iPad that my granddaughter LOVES (will be 3yo next month). Her and my 5 yo grandson fought over the tablet so I purchased a used 1st gen ipad. They both love the ipad/tablet, so my recommendation is to skip the Leap Pad and get a tablet. Although the iPads have help up perfectly fine, my suggestion is to get an android tablet for the younger kids only because of the price difference.
