Checking in for January just in case!!!

We have been saving the bigger boxes so we can do an after Christmas donation to goodwill for a tax deduction!

I actually was surprised too! My Walmart still had lots of big TV's for sale on Friday!

I did most online shopping the week before Thanksgiving and didn't go out Thursday night. I did go on Friday morning to Lowes and got tool box and some small tools for my son in law that he wanted, a indoor thermometer for hubby, and batteries!!! Then went to Belk and got a sweater for my Dad and a small lego set. Then on to Walmart which was deserted!! Here's what I got: 4 outfits for Grandson plus undies and socks PW gadget set thingy Rubbermaid storage x2 Women's leggings Lego set which I had to take back cause I got the wrong one Large Nerf Gun Better Homes & Garden Mixing Bowl set Got everything i needed so I'm done except for Gift Cards and money.

Checking in for December. Boy, November flew by! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

I could have sworn I saw a posting of when all the stores online sales start with the times!!! I can't find it anywhere! Am I just thinking I saw it???

Does anyone know about getting gift cards when you buy online? I want to get the Xbox one X online if I can but do I still get the 40 GC? How does that work???

He definitely knows! He has done his research and watched videos of which consoles are the best, read everything about them and then made an informed decision, if you can do that at 10 years old. LOL.

We are looking hard right now at Walmart with the Xbox One X bundled consoles at 349.00. Everywhere else is like 399 or 499 and PS 4 Pro are 399.The small print under the XBox One X has that all X consoles will be 349.00 so maybe i can get some type of one.

My son has asked for either one of these gaming systems. I do not know enough about them to know which one is better. He is 10 years old and is wanting to play games like Call of Duty, Skyrim, etc. Can someone give me the best of the 2 systems, in layman's terms (i'm not techie enough to understand), best price, will we need a subscription for them, etc. Thanks in advance!!

Got my weighted blanket, 2 pen sets, and the art set! Woo hoo! of course my order says preparing. I hope that does not mean cancelling! I never got an email confirmation on the order.

We bought that game last year and it is kinda hard to understand. The robbers make a play for the goods and “Kevin” has to block. Doesn’t take long at all to play a hand. Cute game because of the movie, but not impressed with how to play!

lol what lines??? everything is self-checkout I had a walmart employee ask me if i wanted to self checkout because i was wandering around looking for a cash register line that was open and I told her no thanks i don't work here and if I wanted to self checkout, i would sit at home and order it online and have it delivered!!!

I really need Walmart to drop!! I have not seen anything yet that I need to buy!! I really, really, want to shop!!

One year my daughter wanted nothing but gift cards. So that is what she got - the card in a plastic grocery bag wadded up in a box along with other cards in bags, mixed in with empty plastic grocery bags ( she had to dig for them), wrapped and put in a bigger box with more cards and empty plastic bags, wrapped in a bigger box, etc. She started out with a box for a big coat and ended up with a small scarf box. My Dad one year gave my Mom a shoe box full of 1.00 bills all wadded as small as he could get them. She didn't find that funny at all having to straighten them out!!!

I have an organizer for my Christmas supplies. It is red & green, long and has all kinds of pockets on the inside. Zips up too. I keep all my paper, tape, some boxes, tags, etc in it. So when i'm ready to wrap, i just bring it downstairs and leave it in my room til I'm done wrapping. I go after Christmas and stock up on paper, bags etc so I'm all ready now, except I have not bought anything! I usually wrap the some gifts the weekend of Thanksgiving after all the shopping. We buy a tree that weekend and my hubby can't stand to have the tree and not presents under it. Then I wait until Sunday afternoons to finish up or whenever I can find time to wrap my son's gifts when he's not around!!

LOL ours is 97 today in TN, but a cool spell to come through this weekend!
