Today I found a wool throw blanket 80% off for 10.xx! The red tag actually said 80!! They had gray, red, blue plaid and tan/white stripe. Only 1 of the 4 stores I went to today had them at all. The markdown team was doing purses, scarves and jewelery when I was there, a lot at 70 and some at 50.

I found a Monsters Inc bluray/dvd/digital copy for 8.48!!!!! Super thrilled with that. I think it might have been an online item it was buried in the toy clearance. Had a marker through the upc and a red sticker on the front saying "as is" with 8.48. I scanned it myself and it came up not found but it scanned properly at the checkout. Had DH with me so I didn't get to look around for anything else.

Well one store gave me the $5 off the sale price and another one didn't. The one on L St in Omaha was the good one.

How is it working for you as far as the starting price? Are they letting you use the sale price then the $5 off that or is it only off full price items?

I got the one on the left, it's dark purple and white. The package is a white box that the front is open so you can see/feel the item. I got the king size for my queen bed and it fits great, the full/queen size was way to small. I am disappointed that it faded for you, hopefully I'll get lucky and be fine. There's still a side of an aisle with Christmas stuff. Nothing good. Just those foam things and tons and tons of individual ornaments.

So I went out today to 3 different stores. Got a few mini trees, some bags, more cat toys and one roll of paper. One roll for 3 stores. Found a box of parchment paper too for 29 cents. I was super happy I happened upon Christmas Story set of 4 glasses for 1.99!! I found the Springmaid (I think) reversible quilts and shams for 70% only at one store, the others were still 30%. Fishing rod and lures 50%. Still tons of clothes and shoes ranging from 30-70%. I'm waiting on the zebra print fur throw to go down more it seems like it's been stuck at 30% for weeks.

Well I went to another store today. Searching for Christmas clearance is making me go broke! I did finally realize today that there is nothing I want at any of my 6 local stores when it goes to 90%. That is really hard for me to say though. I love clearance shopping and am just so bummed there's not going to be anything worth it for me to try for the 90 stuff. Other than that, I just spent another $90. lol Found the tape and the scissors (finally!). I found a car care set not the one with the wipes in it, for $9. Lots of camping/sporting good stuff between 30-50%. Pink chairs in a bag for $8.xx, got one of those things you use in your yard it's a net and you can hit balls into it 70% for 17.xx, a aero bed queen size double height for 70% for 29.xx.

Omaha still 70%. Some of the hba sets were now 30%. The air wick, febreeze Palmolive stuff was 50%. Toys mostly 50%. They were marking down some storage stuff lime green and navy to 30%. Lots of shoes and boots 50%. Lots of purses too ranging from 30-70%. Those amaryllis pots were 70%. I found a set of queen sheets Xmas set I was happy about.

I found a Lysol automatic soap dispenser with 2 refills Christmas themed for 6.xx today.

I wish east coasters would do a quick post early. Guess I'll drag myself out of bed and go see if it's 70% on my own. lol

My store had a lot of clothes too. They must have pulled it out from somewhere in the back. A lot at 70% and 50%. Got some cute button downs for DD and got us both zippered hoodies with the fuzzy lining for 8.xx I found some of the stuff in the Womens/maternity area.

50% by me too. Lots of ornaments, cards, wrapping paper, ribbon, some lights and outside decorations, plenty of cake mix stuff. Nothing I really want. Makes me sad. I'll probably grab some wrapping paper but that's it. Lots of toys were 50% at my store though. Lots.

I made the Grinch cookies and Santa's bottom this morning. Santa's bottom was the favorite. Still going to do cookie dough truffles and the Church windows.

Time to start baking.
