OK so I've been trying to follow this thread, emphasis on trying. I'm looking at the Roku and the Firestick. Can I use them both in conjunction or do I just need one or the other? A few things that are important to me are NFL games and HBO so I've been looking at Sling TV. Will Sling TV work with either device?

For the first time we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving in Havre de Grace, MD. I have no idea where I'll be shopping-lol. I could go north to DE or south to Columbia, MD neither of which I'm too familiar with.

I need to get organized. I have my lists together but without some of the "big" ads I can't totally prepare. I'll be mostly electronic this year as well using my ipad/iphone. I'll have a folder with paper ads and a print out of my spreadsheet for back up.

I use a spreadsheet AND a notebook. I would love to use one or the other but I find I forget to print/email myself the spreadsheet and then I'm in the store without a list!! I would love a comprehensive planner that would include recipes, budgets, etc. Off to Google.

My mother and I used to go every year starting in the early 90s. We would hit Kaybee for my younger brother and then the mall, namely Strawbridges (now Macy's). I really miss those BF shopping trips, very fond memories. The "crowds" were more like a secret club who knew something not everyone was hip to. And the freebies, as a teenager I lived for the freebies! LOL

I'm also thinking about hitting the outlets this year. We've never done it, but have done all other BF shopping. I'll be in central/southern NJ; trying to decide between heading into PA and going to Franklin Mills or Jackson Premium Outlets. I don't even want to think about the traffic!

I'm just about finished. I started shopping and stashing away the day after Christmas. I need to do an inventory soon to see what I have and what I still need to get. I know I need to get my brother something but other than him and my family Secret Santa, I think I'm in good shape. I need to start doing some research on specs for the new tv I hope to grab this BF.

Honestly most of the shopping I do on BF is for me. I shop sales and deals throughout the year for Christmas. I don't have any children and the youngest member of my family is 12 - he likes "action gifts" so we he gets a coupon book of activities we do year round. Soooooooooo, I'll pick up a few filler items but for the most part I shop for me.

Always had a real tree until last year. Bought a great fake pre-lit tree on BF from Home Depot...I'm never going back. Soooo convenient!

I'll be in Cherry Hill, NJ area...I haven't done BF there in years and there are so many new shopping centers I'm going to have to do some research to map out my plan.

How about a dessert party when the younger two get home on Christmas Day. I'm assuming they will eat dinner at their Father's house so you could make their favorite desserts for when they get back home. Maybe even add a mocktail with sparkling cider.

Hi there - I need a new laptop and was considering putting one on layaway at Walmart. I've never put anything on layaway at Walmart so my question is if the black friday price of the laptop I have on layaway is cheaper/better deal can I get the bf price/deal? Seems to me the answer would be no but I'm not a frequent Walmart shopper and sometimes their policies surprise me.

I have never shopped at Walmart for BF but this ad - geesh- it's looking really good to me. Not sure it's worth missing family time though. Decisions, decisions!!

Do they usually do BF deals? I know most stores in the mall have sales. My brother wants some specific items so a deal would be great.

This is just what I need to get started: Mom Dad Brother Gma Gdad GGma 2 Cousins 15 (girl) & 10 (boy) Family SS My extended family is huge so we choose a name and have a $$ limit. Everyone buys for the under 18 crew, of which there are only two. My list is not bad, I just have no idea what I'm getting anyone!!!!
