I did this last year for our game. I ended up with a bunch of gifts that wouldn't fit in the ball. I used a number system. The number on the index card in the saran wrap ball corresponded with a wrapped gift. We have all adults these days, so for the most part, all of the wrapped gifts went over well. My Uncle got a large snow globe that he didn't want, but my Aunt was happy with it.

I want a new Ipad, external hard drive for Macbook and a new luggage set. I traveled A LOT this summer and it became apparent that I need new luggage. Also need new sheets for the MBR and guest room beds.

Ordered 3 items online for in-store pickup. Ended up with 2/3, not bad.

I'm soooo ready!! I need to start making a list of the items I'll be purchasing for me. My family does a white elephant so I never have lots of gifts to purchase. Guess I'll start a list for those too.

Yayyyy! I didn’t miss it!

Agree with everyone about Home Depot! Come on already....also where are the craft stores!!

Throws taken care of...now let me go back and take a good look at the ad.

I buy at least 4 of the Kohl's Big One plush throws for $8.99 every year and I have yet to keep one for myself. They always come in handy for that last minute gift. I guess it will be 5 this year and I'll get to keep one.

Can you get the bag online as well or just in store?
-
Put the tree up and decorated it Sunday afternoon. I had big plans to get everything done, all rooms and decor up. I looked around at all of the totes, bins and bags - poured a drink and called it a night. Got home last night and couldn't take the mess. Put most of it up and organized what was left. Will finish this weekend.

My throws came yesterday! This is my first year buying those - going to order a few for my house. Waiting on my other order but I received the shipping information already.

Didn't need any big ticket items so I woke up at my regular 6 am and got everything I needed. 8.99 throws, 9.99 pjs to go with them, a few casual accessories for the cousins. I may go back online now that I'm at the office and see what I can find for me. Used NOVSAV15 for 15% off, free shipping, and half of my list done. #winning

Finally!! Let me take a closer look.

I see a few things in this ad. The Frozen waffle maker will be a hit with my niece! Online shopping for me, no stores in my area.

This is a great idea. This is the first year I don't need any small appliances but I will be adding a few to my list for future gifts.

I see lots of things that can work for my list. Last year I got to the store about 5am Friday and it seemed like a sweet spot. The store was quiet, clean and I got just about everything on my list. No way I'm going anywhere at 3pm on Thanksgiving day!

Back in the good old days my mother and I kept a notebook with lists, prices, add cut outs, etc. Now I keep a spreadsheet of everything-gift lists, stores, grocery lists, menus, cleaning schedule, to dos, etc. I use Google sheets so I can access the spreadsheet anywhere-mainly on my phone while I'm out and about.

I did the bulk of my shopping online at Kohl's last year. It was my first BF shopping with them so I really want to see what they have this year. Always look forward to Target and Walmart.

I need the ads to plan and get the gift list going - when you buy for mostly adults gift ideas can be difficult!!!

Thinking of a doing real tree this year so the first weekend in December...if I go with my trusted artificial, Thanksgiving weekend.

No big ticket items for me this year so I enjoyed my Thanksgiving and went out about 4 am. The stores were empty when I arrived and I timed most of my arrivals within 10 minutes of re-opening. JCPenny - lots of clothing items for my brother (he doesn't shop for himself), a few things for my godson and teenage cousin Old Navy - more stuff for the bro Ulta - 2 Lorac lace eye shadow palettes, OPI mini's, 2 two-faced Christmas miracle, a few Ulta gift sets and various stocking stuffers AC Moore - a bunch of the 3/$10 children's gifts for a few toy drives next month, melting chocolate wafers and a few decorating odds and ends Earlier this week I hit Kohl's and Macy's online and all of my items have shipped.

I just placed an order and the two coupon codes I had didn't work. I ordered all door busters and tried THANKS and FEAST - I think those codes are just for clearance/regular sale items.

Thanks for the heads up. Now just waiting on Ulta.
