  1. Be Prepared - From The Lion King by the character Scar (Jim Cummings)
  2. It sounds silly, but I saw this on one of those lists about "things you didn't know you needed until now" or something like that. lol A cookie-dunking magnet holder...thing. Haha. I mean, it made it to my Christmas Wish List 2017 on my own Amazon account, so it's pretty appealing for me! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZWK5GF/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I269O8JAE7LYTO&colid=1W8EUV4DHHKZ5
  3. Photo 1: And this, ladies and gentlemen, is called “The LG TV Wave.” Photo 2: The shoppers are walking calmly and not running, pushing, or shoving? That deserves a round of applause! Photo 3: This is definitely the most attention the furniture in the store has seen the entire year long…
  4. Yay! Thanks for everything, Brad! Congratulations to all other winners also. I enjoyed reading everyone's posts!
  5. Photo 1: Girl in red: This is a great time to practice my John Travolta moves! Girl in the pink: I hope this isn’t the line to the bathroom… Mannequin to the left: …I need a better job. Photo 2: They always said, “It’s Nerf or Nothin’.” Well, I’m a firm believer in that. Therefore, admire my FOUR Nerf guns. Photo 3: Lady on the right: I’ve been to Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, and Journeys! Great deals. Crazy lines. You bought anything yet? Girl on the left: Well, I got my shirt I’m wearing for the advertised $12 sale…about all I COULD buy with people fighting over BOGO scarves and discount shoes.
  6. Yay! I won too! Thanks, Brad! Thanks, everyone!!
  7. Photo # 1: In a similar fashion to the early settlers, one may find a new form of “neighbors” outside Best Buy in the weeks leading up to Black Friday. Photo # 2: Follow the leader, but don’t you dare steal their $300 TV! Photo # 3: If you’re a master at Limbo, you’ll be a master at sneaking into the store mere moments before it is actually supposed to open on Black Friday.
  8. 1. Target 2. Both days (after Thanksgiving festivities are done) 3. Thursday at 4:00 PM
  9. My tip is in regards to checking out, especially in places like Walmart. For goodness sake, don't wander aimlessly around trying to find a checkout that "looks shorter," because it doesn't exist on Black Friday. Go to areas where checkouts are maybe forgotten (try the Tire area in the back, or even the gun/paint sections; they'll check you out normally). At Target, we last year we checked out in the customer returns center. The year before, we went to the snack area. Don't just get in line behind a thousand other people because that's what THEY'RE doing. You need to find shortcuts--remember, time is of the essence on BF. Good luck!
  10. (Going with "s") "Somebody's Angel" by Mandisa
  11. Photo 1: Lady in white (next to the lady in red) on the phone : “Yeah, honey, I’m number 362 in line. Of course I think I’ll get the TV! They said they had 20 in stock, and surely not EVERYONE here needs a $200 50 inch TV, right?” Photo 2: Man: I’m not sure why they’re high fiving me… I’m actually in the process of falling flat on my face due to lack of balance and sleep. But hey! At least they’re enthusiastic! Photo 3: Girl: I waited in line for six hours and just now realized I forgot my wallet! Man: You think that’s bad? I BROUGHT my wallet only to find out that my WIFE now has it!
  12. My favorite memory of Black Friday was two years ago. I was in charge of waiting in line at Sears for a possible TV while my dad was in line at Target waiting for a backup TV (in case mine didn't work out) and several other things. Well, naturally, when they started handing out vouchers, I realized I wasn't going to get that TV even though I'd been waiting in line for six hours. My mom, Nana, sister, and sister's puppy were all in the "get away car" (AKA: my sister's car). When people started getting riled up and angry about voucher slighting and so on, my mom jumped out of the car, grabbed all of my stuff in her arms (a blanket, a chair, and even my purse) and told me to get in the car. Dad had secured a spot for me in case of this type of occurrence and had made friends with those at the front of the line where he was, saying that his daughter may be coming if Sears didn't work out. So I got in the car just as it was getting really bad at Sears, and my mom dropped me off at Target with my dad and went to IHOP to get hot chocolate for us all. It was an awesome BF, and we got what we needed. Since then, I've stuck with my dad; my mom stays home with the dog; my sister tags along with us usually; and my Nana, RIP, has gone to be with the Lord. But that's my favorite BF memory, because it was just so hilariously US.
  13. :) So excited!! And I picked up an extra tutoring job at my school this year, so that's more money each month. Setting aside lots for Black Friday AND regular Christmas shopping this year. Plus I think I've talked a friend of mine into coming. Since it's her first time, she'll be in charge of the buggy. Hehe
