  1. I looked around and found this on their website: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/sharp-19-inch-720p-hd-lcd-tv/ID=prod6027378-product The regular price is $249.99, and the add says "Save $60", so it's probably $189.99, not, $99.99. Right now on the website its already on sale for $199.99. Weird thing is the description says the diagonal size is 21.5''. So even though it says 19'' TV, it may actually be a 21'' TV?
  2. Looks to me like it's the 46HM95. Here is a link to the TV at BestBuy's website: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7297105&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat31800050029&id=1118841599311 And here is a link to the TV at Tosiba's website: http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/product.asp?model=46hm95
  3. Try this site: http://cube.ign.com/articles/522/522559p1.html
  4. Yes, all controllers and memory cards will be compatible.
  5. Not entirely true. The Gamecube is more powerful than the PS2 but not as powerful as the XBOX. Also, the next Nintendo system has been confirmed to be fully backwards compatible with all Gamecube games.
  6. I always go out early in the morning to get the good deals, then I shop around to pick up the other items on my list. Then when I get home, I buy the remainder of the stuff I need online. I get it all done in one day.
  7. Me either. I guess the rumored list that came out before these scans was wrong.
  8. I agree with albrandwood, if I absolutely HAD to pick one of these laptops (based solely on the specs known up to this point), I would go with the Toshiba over the HP because I believe the Intel processor would perform better overall, and the faster hard drive is a must. In actuality, I would not buy either because they both use shared memory video cards. At the very least, I would pick up the Toshiba and then add on more RAM. With the video card eating up 64MB, that only leaves 192MB for system use. I don't know how much adding the extra RAM would cost, but it would definitely be worth it.
  9. Well, here is a comparison based on information I've been able to pull together from these message boards: CompUSA Toshiba Intel Celeron M Processor 370 1.5 GHz / 1MB L2 cache / 400MHz FSB 256 MB PC2700 333MHz DDR SDRAM Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP w/64MB DDR shared memory (adjustable to 128MB) 15.0" XGA display (1024x768) 40GB HDD (5400rpm) CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive 802.11 b/g wireless-LAN 1 year standard warranty WalMart HP AMD Sempron 2800+ 1.6 GHz / 256KB L2 cache / 400MHz FSB 256 MB PC27090 333MHz DDR SDRAM Radeon XPRESS 200M w/32MB DDR shared memory (adjustable to 128MB) 15.0" XGA display (1024x768) 40GB HDD (4200RPM) CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive 802.11 b/g wireless-LAN 1 year standard warranty The two laptops are pretty comparable. The main differences are: - Processors. One is Intel and the other is AMD. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. The Intel has 4 times the amount of L2 cache (good for multimedia applications) as the AMD, but the AMD has a slightly higher clock speed by 100MHz. - Video cards. The Radeon XPRESS is the newer of the two, but both should be pretty comparable performance wise. They both share memory with the main system. - Hard drives. Both are the same size, but the Toshiba runs 1200rpm faster. If anyone has any questions about what these specs mean, go ahead and ask and I'll try to answer.
  10. I agree. I've had nothing but good experiences using Staples rebates. I love that you only have to fill out some stuff online, and you don't have to mail anything! I think the worst place for rebates is Office Max. I couldn't believe what kind of hoops I had to jump through to get my money back from them.
  11. Agreed. Most of the door crashers I see are men in their 40s or 50s.
  12. Yeah, I HATE when people do that! My first instinct is to physically restrain them from entering the building before me, but then my rational side kicks in and I realize it's not worth the risk of a fight breaking out just for some cheap crap. Last year at Best Buy though, they had workers standing out front that turned away line crashers at the door and made them go back to the end of the line. That was much appreciated!
