I'm a late night shopper and I notice a crew of workers coming in at 10:30 right before they close. There is a line of about a dozen empty shopping carts with signs hanging from them. I always wondered what they did throughout the night. None of the other stores in the area do this, only this location. What exactly are they doing? And I know you said you've been clearance shopping for ten years but how did you learn all this in such depth?

Well when their system shows up their stock to be -1, then they should refund you without going through all of that hassle.

I took a box of the Triscuits with snowflakes on it up to customer service to see if it was a part of Christmas because I read someone saying that along with the Weat-Thins. She said no that was a vendor (Nabisco) product. Since this particular store isn't as friendly as my regular store, I didn't ask anything further. I know Coke, Frito-Lay, etc. will bring in their own products to stock. But somehow all these food products are getting down to 90%. Would this mean that the brands that are getting clearanced out are not vendor supplied? The whole vendor thing doesn't make any sense.... Sorry to go off topic a little everybody

I saw the pringles but since they had the same UPC as the regular stock, they weren't ringing up on clearance so I left them. Maybe I'll have to see if their still there and ask The Weat Thins with snowflakes were also the same thing, ringing up full price.

I got a boat load of tape! One pair of scissors. No wrapping paper, some bows but not much. Only had a ton of candy canes and a few other misc. items.

70% off at two stores today. Will be going tomorrow for 90% off. Didn't see any hidden deals either.

Agreed. Everyone keeps saying no more 90%. Be patient, just like every year. Halloween went 90% this year and if they didn't, then I could understand the speculations. And thanks HansieDZ for looking up the January 5th date from when it went last year. For those stores that went 70% on Friday should be 90% tomorrow and those that it went last Saturday (which is me) will go 90% on Friday.

A little off topic but you can also send your expired coupons to Coups for Troops and they can use them up to six months after the expiration date.

What is it exactly? I looked online and found a couple of different plush dolls along with DVDs and books. I'll keep an eye out but just wanna know what it is (because I don't have kids).

It'll probably be 70% off since everyone reported that percentage for Halloween clearance. I would love for it to be tomorrow but I would guess Saturday or possibly Friday.

The BOGO packs of the Bed Head and other salon brands are starting to get clearanced out now, only 15% at the moment. I found out that the Laura Ashley tissue wasn't a seasonal product. On the Scotties facebook page, it says that they are a Target exclusive and are only available until October 23rd. So Target must have decided to just put it on the seasonal clearance schedule. Either way, I was able to pick some up. Thanks OP!

Two stores were at 70% and one was at 50%. I was able to get at 70% a ground fog machine, got the regular one last year, and also picked up some fog juice. No storage totes and any of the stores which I need too! They were gone by 50% for sure.
