We went 75% on sunday, so don't know what the chances are of 90% off tomorrow.. Not much candy left but loads and loads and loads of lights...,. and ornaments, ect. On employee purchases.. if it bugs you that much, you can always get a retail job :).. personally, they can have it, and they are welcome to that little perk too!!!!

SeoulGIrl... are any jean or pants "true to size??"...:) I know for the most part i have been buying size 12s when I buy pants. I went to the store and tried some jeans on before buying online and the 12s fit like the other 12s I have been buying.. the hard part, for me anyway, is the rise.. low, waist above the waist.. it all seems to affect how well the pant fits me. I think most walmarts are closed christmas day, and will re-open in the 26th. Ususally they post the time open on the doors. At that time all christmas is 50% off.. at least at my local walmarts...

Stamps (they are expensive!), card collection. (birthdays, sympthoy, thank you, sympthony ect). Tickets for music theater/opera ect whatever their might be? Gift certificate for the meals you make ahead and freeze...(can't think of the name). If she is local, gift certificates for time (to help with yard work, heavy cleaning, a special project ect). My brother bought my g-ma a tape recorder and ask her to tell stories from her childhood and growing up, marriage ect. Then he transcribed them and put them in a nices collection and the next year everyone, including her, recieved one. For the future.. we ask that everyone in the family make ONE scrapbook page. The only requirement was the size and post type of the page (so it would fit in the scrapbook) AND each picture had to have the person's name and age or a date. Then we all gave them to my mother at christmas.. she LOVED that.. it is now tradition and the pages are as different as the families and sooo fun!

Ok. I missed them, didn't know I needed one, but my mother has requested a CRICUT machine. (personal or expression). Of course, NOW I see all the deals I COULD have had on Black friday or shortly there after, if I had only known! I can't seem to find much of a deal now though.. Has anyone seen a good deal on these... (Hobby lobby, has the personal on sale this week,(169., which is far cry from the black friday price, but better than full price), but both stores in my city do not have them.. (didn't even get them in..) I don't need it until after christmas 12/30, so I have a little extra time.....

nick jennii jocelyn.. I know how you feel, but several years ago my husband bought me one as a birthday present. I am still using it. It has worn like steel. Still looks good and I know it is a LEAST 5 years old, and it could be more like 8 - 10. It has been well worth the money, and if I could get others at $75.00 I would JUMP on it. However, nothing around here any idea what the special is today??

I know it is an hour away but go to the store! It is very easy to blow you off on the phone, when you are there in person, much more difficult. Stay until it is resolved. If you have to get loud in the store so all the customers "hear" that they lost your computers, so be it.. (usually they are well aware, and they don't want the rest of the store to hear!).

I did rebates on 5 CC items last year (several hundred $$). EVERYONE of them was return with the exact same post card, item was not purchased in the right time frame. I kept copies of each. I called, and magically there was not a problem. They "fixed" it and I had them within a week. That is a week, after waiting 3 months, and making a phone call. It was just really suspicious that they all came back with the same rejection, yet when I called, there was no problem at all. In my opinion, you will get your money, if you follow up, but they are the worst of the worst and you better make sure you have copies!

I am with you.. when is it best to buy and from where.. better on-line at the store, wait? now? I want the very best price and it is all driving me crazy.. I like the information, but it is also making me very unsure about what to do

don't some stores have on-line specials on thanksgiving and black friday. I know at circuit city last year I was able to get some great deals on-line, (same or in some cases better than BF?). BUT... I also know some of it was sold out, and I can't remember if it was thanksgiving or BF, and what time. Anyone have a better memory than i do? Can you tell us when the best time to get online for these deals are? (remembering timezones of course??)

Thanks for the input on the casio... I took my daughter shopping and ask about size verses quality. She was willing to give up quality for the size. For her that was what was important and know how she will use it, she is probably right. Kids do take pictures differently, and just delete, if they don't like them :) If there are any others I should consider, please let me know... especially if they come out before black friday!!!

I, like many others am looking for a good in-expensive entry level camera. I like what you have to say about the Canon A560 and if for me, would jump on it.... BUT it looks a little "bulky". I have a teen girl, who wants slim compact camera(you know, slip in a pocket, small purse at prom ect). Anything you would recommend, keeping it under 150.00 IF possible? Open to BF or other deals available!!!

I have seen dual core, 1024K memory and 120 gig hard drive for 500 - 550, quite a bit lately. Around christmas, it MAY be a little cheaper, but this gives you a target. This is basically the specs my daughter took to college this year, and it does all she wants and more....

This was the WORST rebate year EVER for me! I purchase a bunch of stuff with rebates on Black Friday. Saturday we completed and mailed (or did the on-line stuff) for ALL the rebates. 1. The jewel of the bunch was Ace Hardware, rebate was back within 3 weeks. 2. Circuit City, I am convinced is scamming people. ALL but ONE rebate was returned with a invalid purchase date. (The notification has all come different weeks). Each time I called, the first thing the ask, was did I have a copy, (if not SOL), if yes, then magically, they say, yes you are correct, a couple clicks and all is well. Come on.. I had 5 rebates from them and they ALL said the same thing on the rejection. So far when called, a couple clicks and they are all magically fixed, though I STILL don't have the money. 3. Kohls... rebate claims wrong item was purchased, even though Kohls had taped the rebate to the box.. to their credit though, I was able to take my infomation is and they gave me the money, but then again.. MORE hassle factore. 4. CompUSA.. Still shows pending.. 7 weeks later.. uggh.. no money YET... 5. Office Depot.. seems to have gone to a black hole.. nothing on them either... Normally I am very careful about filling out rebates and sending the right stuff in, in year past I have had very few problems but this year overall has been a total disaster!

The 20 questions is a great one, but they also have some great little gifts at walmart and target in the pre-wrapped stuff. Plan ahead for next year. (ie buy them after christmas for 50% off :) ). I buy the shooters (they shoot little soft disks out and the teens love them), I buy the wood puzzles.. you know the golf ts in the triangle, and about 6 others come with them. Also the metal puzzles that you have to take apart. The other big hit is silly string. :) My kids say the kids always love the stuff they bring....

so do you think they will lower the price of the items already in the cart, or will you have to add, once they turn it on? Any ideas when that might be? I always heard 12:00... this is the first year I have tried this and nothing...

But the stuff I want is going in at the regular price... does that mean they are out?? Can't get it? How do you get the advertised sale price??

what time does walmart begin this year?? tradionally target has not moved from the 7:00 am start, but their doorbusters have been a bust lately in my opinion.
