  1. No problem- Yep they are the real Croc brand. They say "Croc" on the heel strap and have the Crocodile face on the side button thingie. They had pink, purple, brown, black, navy and...that all I remember:)
  2. Has anyone heard anything about this years TJ Maxx BF sale? In the past they aired commercials on tv that hinted about high end designer purses, etc. I have gotten a couple of Dooneys and Coaches on BF, so I am hoping this will be the case again!:yup:
  3. This post is in reference to an expired online deal form this link http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87204&page=5. They are still showing the Grim Reaper on their web site.

I know this post is from sooooo long ago, but i am totally ticked off at Kohl's:splat:!!!!!

I ordered the Witch, Mummy, and the Haunted House on November 6. I got the Mummy and Witch at different times and was very pleased with each item. I waited well into November to follow up as my order said Fulfilled or shipped- whatever. Nothing, nothing, nothing...I called several times and was assured that it had shipped out. :heks:

Fast forward to holiday madness and this being placed on the back burner. I called them again yesterday and was told that it had shipped out, but looks like it was LOST IN TRANSIT????:gdcensored: No automatic credit to my card or notification or order cancelation. The gentleman was very apologetic and said he would now issue a credit now but nothing could be done about it the Haunted House because they are out of stock. I am completely ticked off at them. GRRGGGHHHGGHGGHIU.

I am usually very pleased with their store, but the online dealings have been WAYYYY fishy.:goldfish::fishing:

  4. Anything by TSO

    So this is Christmas

I love Christmas music. I play the Yahoo messenger Christmas radio station on my PC at work! Yea- my coworkers love me for it---:tongue1:

  5. How many Christmas trees do you put up in your home? What is the theme of each?

My main tree is gold and ivory with white lights. I still have my original angel from 11 years ago when dh and I first moved in together. It was the most pitiful thing ever. We had a real tree that year and it had a spider nest in it!!:yuck: We woke up one day and the tree looked like it had snow all over it- spider webs:shock: ! The angel still has spots of blood on it where we were swatting the spiders. I stick it in the tree now.

I have two more in the front entry way, one is pink and green with contemporary decorations. The other is lilac, rose, and black.

My dining room tree is a country style narrow tree with old fashioned snowmen, candy canes, and rafia bows.

The kitchen tree is multicolored lights with gingerbread and cooking ornaments, teaspoons, wooden spoons, etc.

The bathroom tree is really garish. It isn't much of a tree as it is ornaments.

Dd has an aqua, pink, purple, lime, pink rice light tree. It looks age appropriate in her room. The bottom has a purple lame skirt.

Ds has a cowboy theme tree with chilli pepper lights, rope garland, straw cowboy hat topper, bandana bows, and other cowboyesque items. The skirt is burlap material.

Our bedroom is done in the shabby chic style so the tree is victorian style.

Most everyone in my family has a tree in each room! My dh thought I was CRAZY :cheesy: when I said we were following the tradition. He admired it at their homes, but cringes during the Christmas explosion week at ours!:tongue1: I really should get off of here and continue since I have the day off of work to decorate!:gdlicklips:

I totally forgot about my most favorite tree in the world! In our tv room, I have a vintage aluminum tree. We didn't have the clor wheel for a few years so we just put a spot light on it. My dh just found a color wheel at a flea market! Color me excited~~:)!!~~

  7. I am a Vegetarian and was totally clueless about Turkey prep:yuck: . I found this recipe a few years ago on allrecipes.com. It has 472 positve comments. It it a no-fail, great recipe that garners many compliments. The turkey is so moist, that it sometime falls off of the bones as I am transferring it to the platter. I am now the offical Turkey taker maker at every family event!

Read the comments and you will see that it is highly recommended!

    DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Rinse and wash turkey. Discard the giblets, or add to pan if they are anyone's favorites.

Place turkey in a Dutch oven or roasting pan. Separate the skin over the breast to make little pockets. Put 3 tablespoons of the butter on both sides between the skin and breast meat. This makes for very juicy breast meat.

In a medium bowl, combine the water with the bouillon. Sprinkle in the parsley and minced onion. Pour over the top of the turkey. Sprinkle seasoning salt over the turkey.

Cover with foil, and bake in the preheated oven 3 1/2 to 4 hours, until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 180 degrees F (80 degrees C). For the last 45 minutes or so, remove the foil so the turkey will brown nicely.
