  1. Yeah not providing the calendars this year is kind of a pain. Not sure why they eliminated them this year.
  2. I noticed a few things missing from their site that I was just looking at earlier this week. I guess they're working on things and prepping for this week!
  3. Hoping to grab one of those 12 month Xbox Live cards!
  4. I'm hoping they match Best Buy's Lego Movie price of $3.99. I'm really missing the calendars though. Those made it so much easier to make sure I wasn't missing a deal.
  5. Hope that 20% pops up before I'm ready to order!
  6. Sooooo are we supposed to just monitor Amazon 24/7 for the deals we're looking for? I miss the calendar.
  7. Anyone have any insight on embroidery machines? I've been really wanting one but am so unfamiliar with pricing/what features I should be looking for. I am just looking for a nice starter machine that I could learn and keep for a few years at least before upgrading to a pricier model.
  8. You could always buy now and return it if you find a better deal on BF!
  9. That's what I figured. You're right - I could always return if I find something cheaper. Thanks for the help!
  10. I am considering an iPad mini for my sister. I'm pretty familiar with iPhones and iPods but I don't own nor have ever owned an iPad. So to be honest, I am not sure what a good price is. I think I'm considering the one at Walmart for $199 with $30 GC. Can anyone clarify for me if this is a good deal? Or is there a possibility of a better deal before Christmas? I haven't had to purchase an Apple product during the holiday season so I'm not sure what their price trends are this time of year. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
  11. 1. A few hundred 2. About 4-5 3. The same, if not a little more.
  12. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-North-Face-Mens-Denali-Jacket-Fleece-Coat-Black-S-XXL-NEW-/131282009140?pt=US_CSA_MC_Outerwear&var=&hash=item1e91047c34 This would be a great gift idea for someone who may be going on their first ski trip in January and needs to be warm (especially since we are from Florida)...which may or may not be a gift I am giving this year.
  13. 1. What store do you think will have the best Black Friday ad this year? I'm always a sucker for the Wal-Mart ad! 2. Do you anticipate shopping in stores on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, both or neither? Probably both. It's our family tradition. 3. What time do you think Walmart will begin their Black Friday sale this year (day and time)? Probably Thanksgiving Day, maybe 6pm?
  14. 5 computers and 6 tablets?! Wow! Were you shopping for other people?
  15. I noticed that too. The Nabi went in and out of stock all day. I'm glad that there seemed to be plenty of everything for everyone. I think I only had 4 transactions, although they were big ones! Most were for family members who seemed to have benefited more from the early access than I did!
  16. My back order was Big Bang Theory Season 5. I'm in no rush though, so I'm happy. What did you guys manage to score?!
  17. It says the iPads will be $60 off. So with the typical iPad 2 being $399, does that mean we can expect them to be $339? I hope so! I am looking to grab an iPad for my cousin to gift her son.
  18. The best way to do it is to "roll" your extra care bucks. So say an item is $1 with $1 extra care buck back. You are essentially getting it free. For transaction 2, say another item is on sale for $1.50 with $1.50 extra care bucks back. You can use the $1 extra care buck from the first transaction to lower your out of pocket cost. So $1.50 minus the $1 = you'd pay .50 out of pocket and also the $1.50 extra care buck will print. It sounds complicated but it's not too bad. I usually do about 3-5 transactions and each takes a few minutes. Well worth it in my opinion and cvs has never given me a problem about it.
  19. Not for me buttttt I bet people will go crazy over that gift card deal at Wal-Mart for the iPad, also because its "guaranteed". I can only imagine how smoothly that's going to run...
  20. Brad, did you get my PM a few days ago? I wasn't able to message BigJimSlade for some reason so I went ahead and messaged you.
  21. Okay, I just read through the whole thread and now I'm even more confused! I am looking to get a 7 inch tablet. I had decided that I was going to get a Kindle Fire HD but reading this thread got me thinking. Now I can't decide if I want the Kindle Fire HD with $30 GC from Best Buy or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with $20 GC from Best Buy. Here is why I am indecisive: What I like about the Kindle Fire HD: Amazon customer service, I am a Prime member already, the book lending service, the HDMI out, etc What I don't like: Worried that the apps aren't as great as what I could find on the Samsung, I have heard the Kindle is a bit restrictive, no expandable storage. What I like about the Galaxy Tab: The variance of apps, most people on here seem to vouch how much they love it, expandable storage, two cameras is a bonus. What I don't like: Not sure about Samsung customer service (never had a product of theirs), I hear battery life is just okay. I already have a laptop that I use at home and school and an iPhone 4S that I use for apps, Internet browsing, etc as well. I am just wanting a tablet for the same reasons it seems everyone else wants one: to browse the Internet, use apps, read some books, do a few school things, Skype, etc. I really just wish someone could make the decision for me! But since that's not possible, can anyone give me some more insight into these two? I really would just like to make a decision already. I've been looking into buying a tablet for over a year and have yet to commit!
  22. So if it's going down to $279.99 for Cyber Monday, does that mean it will be $279.99 with the headphones too? Or will it just be $279.99 without headphones? I'd like to nab this deal with the headphones but I'd kick myself if it went down to $279.99 with the headphones tomorrow...any ideas?
