  1. I got a couple of things too, however one's a gift to myself. I was going to get a coffeemaker for my mother that's on the BF ad, but I would up buying a nicer one that's not . . .
  2. According to what they sent me, I'd say go ahead and open it. However, you could write customer service and get a confirmation if you want to play it safe . . .
  3. At this point, since I've found that I can purchase an item before BF and then return for a price adjustment, that's what I'm going to do . . .
  4. Good idea! I was thinking of borrowing a step and putting the item on the top of a shelf out of sight . . .
  5. I just got this reply from Target today: It sounds like you have some questions about our price adjustment policy for the Black Friday items. We're able to make adjustments on sale merchandise if we advertise a lower price either the same week or the week following your Target purchase. Adjustments can be made with your original receipt. As a reminder, this service isn't available on clearance merchandise.
  6. At this point it's more speculation than anything . . .
  7. I was wondering if I went to a store a day or so before BF, found an item I know will be on sale, then hid it behind other items, or even put it in a different part of the store, then returned on BF and retrieved it. Of course, there's always a risk a clerk could find it and return it to its spot, but has anyone ever tried this, especially in cases where a store may not do price adjustments on items purchased before BF?
  8. Samsung generally has a good reputation. I just got a Sony with built-in WiFi access to the Internet, which allows me to watch Netflix, YouTube and other online sources on my TV. I'm really happy with it. Cnet.com has a lot of reviews, if you want to check them out . . .
