after opening stockings only at home, my family and i all go to a truck stop diner in my city, (which my kids love) on Christmas morning...it is the only place open so it gets very busy and we usually have a party of 15 ppl but my kids look forward to it every year and my ex husband and his new wife also go as well (kids LOVE having us all in the same place for a meal even if at separate tables) then the kids leave to spend day with their dad and come home and finish opening presents at night after dinner.

My speech therapist reccommended fisherprice barn and farm animals, I know my kids love it and it helps them by constantly talking aout animal sounds and singing "Old Macdonald" (they have speech delay as well as other developmental delays they will be 2 this month). or a play kitchen maybe puppets.

I love the tradition of going out BF with my sis, mom and bff every year. It isn't just about the sales to me, if my kids really want something they will get it anyway reguardless of being a doorbuster or not. If I happen to catch a good deal that is great I will not get into a fight with anyone over a toy (not worth it). I love watching the the excitement of some ppl as they are waiting in line discussing deals, talking about families, one year we met someone in line and we worked together as we were looking at similar items so grabbed 2 instead of one (some ppl are rreally nice) so even with online shopping becoming more popular I know my family will continue to go out at 3am every BF. I was unable to go on year (due to having premature twins a week earlier) it was devastating to me to know i missed out on one of my favorite traditions.

My teenage girls just got new phones and for christmas they want to download games, music etc...but I have several smaller children so I need to physically put something under the tree for them, I would like to make "download certificates" but I am looking for creative and fun ways to wrap them in various shapes sizes any ideas would be appreciated thanks:confused:

Does anyone know where I can find twin size Pittsburg steelers bedding? (sheets, comfortors, etc) my 11 yr old son has been asking for these for 2 years and I either can never find them or they are just outrageously priced.

I would dress up as a SHOPPING CART so then i wouldn't have to fight anybody for one and all the deals i get will be right with me the whole time

I added 2 new lines to my family plan last week it is also a win win for me since I was paying $20 for pay as u go phones for my girls now they get more for less and even when I have to pay in 2012 it's still less than I was paying before (and they love having "new" phones)
