Anyone else prefer in person to online shopping?  Last year I bought a Ninja Foodie Toaster Oven Air Fryer online to pick up in the store at Kohl’s because I could get it with crossover stacking coupons and extra Kohl’s cash. Well a little while later I get an email saying my order was canceled because it was out of stock at the store, and since then, out of stock online too. Well, the next day I’m up bright and early, ok middle of the night, heading to Tulsa and to Kohl’s for a couple of other things, and when I got inside the store there was a stack of that oven right there on the floor.  So, not sure why my order was cancelled when they obviously had them, but that’s why I like in-person shopping, I know what I’m able to get right then and there and not think I’ve got something and then find it isn't so. 

    I've had that happen at Kohl's too. Very upsetting.

    I like the online deals when I have to ship things though. I just wish they would honor all the online orders. Their computer systems know what they have so they shouldn't be cancelling orders.

    I'm hoping for better deals this year too.

    February was a bit of a rough month, I've been sick since the last week in January.  It got really bad about the 10th, and I just can't seem to get better.  It'll ease off for a day or 2, then come back.  We think we may have figured out the cause being an allergic reaction to my dad's dogs that have been staying here during the bad cold weather.  They are leaving tomorrow, so fingers crossed I can start getting better!

    To kick things off this year, my spinal surgeon is giving me a special New Year's present. Two surgeries, ALIF and LSF, to help fix the issues I've been dealing with in the lower part of my spine. Also going to move a nerve that's being pinched and causing my sciatica down my leg. Therefore, I'll be down and out for a while in the hospital, then likely in a spinal rehab facility.
    But the good news is I'll have my brand new laptop I got for Christmas! I'll be able to Duo and Facetime all my friends and family. And I'll still be around the internet here and there.

     

    2024 is coming in with a blast!
