  1. I agree. It was kinda strange how not everything went down. I was also surprised that the camping clearance didn't go down hardly at all today.
  2. I was in a different store than I usually go to, and they had a lot of carts of clearanced toys. They were busy resetting everything else in the toys, so to me it seemed very possible that tomorrow could be the big day.
  3. Hopefully we'll hear reports from Target shoppers tomorrow whose stores mark toys down on Wednesdays.
  4. I saw a 20% off Nerf Rebelle blasters, bows, and darts on Cartwheel. I don't know if you could pricematch and use the Target coupon and Cartwheel, but it's certainly worth a try!
  5. Was able to pick up some toys for younger niece and nephew, and some toys that my kids can use for when they get invited to bday parties, but my find of the day was completely random. In sporting goods, I found a Razor electric E90 scooter for 85% off. Sticker price was $99.99, but it was marked $15.04. #082 07 0158
  6. On our way out of Indpls yesterday, we stopped at the Target near the Castleton mall. The toy markdown team was working their way through the toys, which seemed odd because it was at 5:00 in the evening. There were miscellaneous toys and games marked down from anywhere from 30% to 70%. My son was returning s duplicate gift and was tickled to find a Lego set marked down to 50% for the same price he received for his exchange. It was the super heroes series, marked from $50 to $25. There were a few other legos marked down, some 30% and others 50%. Seemed kinda random as to which sets were marked down, and I certainly didn't understand why some were marked more than others. Didn't see anything that my 8 y/o DD would like, but then again, the toy section was pretty picked over from Christmas. Hope that helps someone!
  7. In Indpls, my Target was 90% off Halloween decor, crafts, costumes, etc. Not sure if it went yesterday or not, but still had a decent amount left. I did find the theater boxes of M&Ms for 10 cents, and the bags of nerds and pixie sticks (Wonka brand) were 70% off. Didn't try scanning anything else. Was happy to get some cheap candy that should last until next Halloween (except for those M&Ms!) They're going in our office! =)
  8. Look by the registers for the little Lego bags. The Lego Harry Potter ones are ringing up at $1.19.
  9. Unfortunately, you are right about the prices being higher as your child grows. Not only do the clothes and shoes get more expensive, but so do their toys! My 9 y/o DS is now in a mens shoe size 8, and that was a shock to the wallet when buying dress shoes for Easter. Yikes! The prices that you got for the capris and t-shirts are fantastic! Clearance buying for next year's season is the best way to go, IMO. I know kids have sudden growth spurts and all, but so far, I've had good luck with buying clothes in advance. As far as what is a good price for shirts, pants, and the such, that is going to vary from person to person. I'm personally happy if I can get jeans/pants for $10 and under. Knit t-shirts and shorts/skorts I want $5 and under for, and nicer skorts/shorts for $10 and under. Just a head's up....my DD is just starting to move out of the 6X size, which is putting her into the bigger girls section of clothes. The clothes in those sizes are a little higher than the 4-6X sizes. Oh well, just gives me more reason to clearance shop! HTH
  10. I saw the same thing at the Southport Target store. There were two of them, and they were actually on the second level where DH was able to take it down and try it out. He didn't buy it, but it scanned for $32.xx. Also saw 20" girls bike for $32.xx, also 75% off. It was either a Schwinn or a Mongoose (sorry, couldn't remember!), and I considered buying it for DD, but I just bought her an 18" bike, so no use in having another bike sitting in the garage collecting dust. Very, very little camping or sporting goods clearance left, but there are several bags of bicycle spoke beads for $0.48! I say that because I looked everywhere so it seems for such a thing before Christmas for DD's new bike, and couldn't find them anywhere! Ending up getting them for $4 or $5 on amazon, then I see them super cheap at Target! Oh well, I bought a bag to supplement the $5 bag I already have!
  11. Oooh, I forgot! I was at my Target early this morning, so maybe they weren't done scanning all of the things in the sporting goods department, but I did see an encap near the camping stuff that had several nice sleeping bags marked down to $14.xx, 75% off. Sorry no dpci for it, as I didn't buy any, but I wonder if some other camping clearance might also be marked down further in a few stores?
  12. No legos at 75% off here in Indianapolis. But 50% is good, IMO. Most other things were 75%. Happy shopping to all!
  13. This is especially for 1angellnhvn!!!! I stopped by my Target this afternoon and saw that this had been marked down to 75% off and was ringing up at $32.xx It was the 10 in one hockey table set. ###091170058 Titan 10 in 1 Multi-game Everything else toy-wise that I glanced at was still only at 30-50% off. Tomorrow must be the big day for the markdowns, I'm guessing.
  14. So I'm guessing your store didn't mark the toys down further today either?
