Maybe there will be a supplemental ad in Wed. or Thurs. paper?Yes, it is the black friday ad. states everything exactly the same as the pdf scan, but the toy pages which are marked 13a, 14a, are missing. every other page is the same.

I'm sure there was at least 100 people ahead of me in line. And this was at 12:30. CRAZY! Although no one was acting stupid.I bought 5 coats for $80 +tax, 2 for me and one for each of my 3 nieces. Not sure if I'm going to attempt to go for sweaters or not since I won't get out of church until after 12. Our store had quite a few people in it right at noon waiting to check out (I walked in the store at 11:55), but no one was pushing or snatching things off racks. Very civilized. I checked out about 12:30 and only 2 people were ahead of me in line.

Was your store a mad house like mine?We got back a while ago. I got this one for me http://www3.assets-gap.com/webcontent/0003/975/736/cn3975736.jpgand this one for mom http://www2.assets-gap.com/Asset_Archive/ONWeb/Assets/Product/864/864334/quick/on864334-01qlv01.jpg. Used my $20 off of $40 from a weeks ago and paid $25xx for both.
Tomorrow will be a little harder since I left $30 off of $60 coupon to use and I just noticed its Adult ONLY. Not sure why I had imagined it was everyone. One of the stores had 30% off additional on clearance.
-
I think all womens coats were 75%. They had all the coats on racks at the front of the store. I don't think the athletic jackets were 75% off though- I could be wrong.Anyone know the answer to this, is it ALL adult outerwear for 75% off? Or just specific coats?

Just got back from Old Navy. I stood in line for over an hour, but got several cute pea coats for $15 and $20. The checkout line was CRAZY! It was worse than BF.
They are having 75% off of a different item every day this week (before T-giving)
Sunday- 75% off Adult sweaters
Monday- 75% off Adult graphic tees
Tuesday- 75% off adult solid and striped long sleeve tees
Wednesday- additional 50% off adult clearance.
*it says at bottom of flyer they gave me- No price adjustments.

No coupon needed, just go in and tell them you want the B1G1 holiday drinks.

OMG, I hope this is true!! Somehow I doubt it though.Has anyone else heard the rumor that amazon.com may be selling the Kindle Fire on Black Friday for $100? If you've heard info about that, do you know when they will start offering the Kindle Fire at that price?
-
I just got an email with Thanksgiving Day sales but have not seen Black Friday.I Love going to Big Lots on Black Friday - but haven't been able to find a Scan. Does any one know if these are only Local Sales or will there be an official Black Friday Ad Scan?
ETA: I read this too late as Brad already put up the ad.

I will probably get it in the mail too, but in case I don't, I would love to have it. We usually do go b/c by the time they open we are done with most everything else. They usually have some good deals.Just in case there is anyone out there like me that was wondering about the Lifeway Christian Stores Black Friday ad, I got it in the mail today. This is always one of my stops so I was waiting on this one. Opening at 7am. I posted a thread about it but it was deleted, why I don't know, so I'll try posting this here.

I just saw your post- Jingle Jammies for the entire family for $8 on page 5.No PJ pants? Boo!

That's wonderful!

I wish I would have seen this post before we went. I was there last Thursday, I could have stopped by and met you! Which booth were you in?
We LOVE the Southern Christmas show and have gone every year for the past 15 or so years.

Walmart map
in 2011
Our online map was not right. I was there for the TV and the laptop and neither was in the place it said online. The employees did not know where anything was supposed to be either. After about an hour of waiting in line the manager came out and told us (about 30 people) we weren't in the right place, I thought there was going to be a riot! -
I agree with tinkrbel, I love the friendly chat among the gottadeal family. But I do know it is hard to follow when it is busy.I don't know about that, I think that's a big part of the draw. Now if Brad opened up a chat here maybe that'd work, I hear one existed once.
I would DEFINITELY love to see a webcast while you are in line BigJim.
During the week it is harder for me to join in b/c of everything going on.
Thanks to BigJim (and stationchief) for the great webcasts!

Too bad we don't live close, I could borrow it since we have the same last name.I just started doing some ETCHING. The last thing I made was a pyrex casserole dish with our last name etched on it. I am definatly doing some of those as gifts this year because it turned out so great.
I think its a great idea to be creative during the holidays :)
BTW, for those that have done the etching, do ya'll have a cricut? I don't have one and was wondering how hard it would be w/o it.
-
That is a cute idea! I would love to see a pic of it.Thanks for the info on the etching. I etched a candy jar with DD's teachers name on it. I tied a ribbon and will fill it with candy and a small gift card. It was so easy and looks really nice. Thanks again!

Probably will have plenty of the picture frames. Every year at my Wamart they have like a hundred of them and I don't live in that big of a town.

I was going to suggest the same thing as Silverstreak. Plan a girls day out. Go to her favorite place for a meal to start off with, then go get a massage together. It could be just a neck and shoulders massage, or foot massage, if you don't think she would like the full body one. Or go to a nearby town that has shops that she doesn't get to shop at often. Just spending a special day doing what she wants with her sweet daughter is something most moms would love.

I actually LOL'ed (@ drying off w/ a comforter) b/c I say the same thing! Although I don't like them too thin, just a nice medium thickness. It is so weird, there are THIN towel people and THICK towel people:2roller:
Me and a friend joke about this all the time. SHE likes thick, her husband thin, and me and my husband are opposite.
When I dry off with one of the super plush thick kind, I feel like I am drying off with my bed comforter!
and I don't want to wear the towel I only dry off with it, never wrap it around me--I get into my clothes quickly (except to wear on my head and then if they are thick and heavy they are not comfy, LOL)
I guess the ladies grabbing at the Wally towels are the thin-towel chicks like me!

I love those commercials!I want the Hershey's Kisses commercial.

I am interested in knowing too. The person I would be buying it for would be just surfing the internet and email.
