Has anyone ordered stuff online BF and then not gotten what they ordered? Like last year I remember posts (not sure if it was on here or somewhere else) about people who ordered stuff online on BF and the order goes through, they get a confirmation number and then a week later they get an email saying the stuff is backordered, or something like that, and and in some cases it wouldn't be shipped until after Christmas. I would love to get some of my list taken care of online but I'm afraid something like that would happen and I wouldn't find as good of a deal after BF.

absolutely no luck today. ereaders still 30% off. school supplies still 30% off (and our whole city started school almost a month ago). I am getting so tired of going to our 1 little target and not finding what I want marked any lower. and I really want an ereader for 75% off!!! -
Well, I do know they will not PM walmart.com prices on non BF stuff. At least my Walmart won't.

How many people do you buy for for Christmas?

Oh yeah forgot about the angel tree presents too and other charity gifts. Don't even know how many that is. -

About 23 family members and about 20 others including teachers and DS's youth leaders at church, and friends. So about 43, and I'm sure I'm leaving someone out. I also have to buy birthday presents for all 23 of the family members too. It is very expensive to be in my family! -

Thanks! My dad just told me last night that he saw where they were 50% off at his Lowes too. I guess I need to get to Lowes!

What to do for teachers? My son has several this year.

I did that a couple of years- got a big cute Christmas mug (the ones that can double as a soup bowl) and put in an individual packet of flavored hot cocoa, gourmet coffee, and specialty tea, along with a chocolate covered stirring spoon. I tied it up with with a big pretty bow and celephane wrap(for baskets) in Christmas patterns . The cost was less than $5 each with the good deals I got. But I read somewhere that most teacher's didn't like getting mugs b/c they get so many of them. -

I know!! All my Target's cashiers get furious when they have to sell you something if it has already been salvaged. I thought my cashier was going to hyperventilate from all her sighing the other day b/c she had to manually add the salvaged yellow dollar spot stuff for 25 cents. From the way they act, you would think they got paid commission or something. -

My Dollar spot sign said 50% off was until 8/14 so I am hoping it will be 75% tomorrow. We had some new things in ours that were not there on Thursday. Also got DS13 his "required" TI-84 plus calculator for school. It was in the sale ad for $99, but when I got to the store there was a sale tag saying it was only $86 for the silver edition. YAY! I told him it better last a couple of years or he will be buying it with his own money next time. (This is his second one in 2 years, thank goodness I got a used one last year) -

Was so happy with my trip to Target today. Got some not so good news at the drs. today, so my solution was to do some serious retail therapy! Spent almost 3 hours shopping. I must say it def. helped. Everything I got was 75% off: ### hello kitty fortune cookie maker $5.xx ### 2 different Chixos sets $3.74 ### 2 waterguns $2.xx ### Dora fashion pack tennis $3.xx ### dora dj pack (has plastic turntable, boom box, headphones, etc.) $3.xx ### pair of sandals that had already been salvaged but they let me have for $3.74 ### 2 different pair of mossimo dressy capri's $5.48 ### 2 merona sleeveless dresses (1 purple & 1 raspberry color) $9.98 ### 2 pair C9 shorts $3.xx ### merona mens board shorts $3.78 ### 3 really soft mens t-shirts $2.48 My husband is probally going to kill me b/c we really didn't need any of this, but I can not resist 75% off!! -
What are you hoping to see on sale this Black Friday?

DS wants a laptop, DH wants a "better" GPS. That is the 2 top things so far. -

Thats the hardest part of buying all the toys so early- waiting until Christmas to give it to them! -
Target has lots of K'nex and lego sets on clearance right now(75% off, so a steal of a deal!!) along with tons of other 75% off toys.

I searched the forums about this and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if/when Lowes or Home Depot does a summer clearance? I need to find a patio set but my stores sets are only 25% off on just a select few. Do they go 75% off like Target does? TIA

I went to 4 different stores in 4 different cities hoping to find the patio furniture and the ice cream makers, but didn't. We went on a mini vaca and stopped at all the Targets on the way. I did find 2 things that were ringing INF but they sold them to me for 90% off. ### tablecloth for umbrella tables .70 was 6.99 ### 4 paper lanterns .30 was 3.00 But I still have no patio furniture to put my tablecloth on. -

I love The Company Store. JCPenney also has some. I was just looking at the home sale ad the other day, but I can't remember what they were called or what they were made of. Also they have some online called Athletix made with poyester/spandex that feels like athletic clothing. HTH -
That was one of the things DH was saying.

I doubt this will help you much b/c I know nothing about golf, but DH & DS play. He was trying to explain all this stuff about buying the clubs but for the most part he was saying it would be hard to buy clubs for your husband without you knowing his preferences. Golfers can be very picky about what they like! But he did say their favorite brands were Callaway, Taylor Made, Titleist and Ping.

I only got the dinner & snack paper plates that had the napkins to match. There were several other patterns but ###The ones I got had different color polka dots with a flower in one of the polka dots- DPCI was 240 09 0509 (snack plate) and was orig. 1.50, I got for 37 cents. ###The dinner plates have a pink edge with an off center flower on them- DPCI was 240 09 0512 orig. 1.50, now 37 cents. It was really weird because they had other plates and napkins that were in with the clearance plates that were scanning full price. But luckily I scored about 4 packs of plates and 4 packs of napkins. HTH! -
I have always gotten everything from walmart and it has always been just as cheap as most other sales. I stocked up back in June when my walmart had 10cent notebooks, filler paper, folders, pencils, pens and pens (they were clearance).
