got the clif bars too! They also had Larabars for about the same price but there were only 8 in a pack (and weren't organic) so I passed on them. Also got the canned organic chicken for $1.7x I think the brand is valley fresh. They had all the fireplace stuff- like log holders, fireplace tools, duraflame logs, etc for 70% off. Dehumidifiers were 50%

OK, I am confused. I just got a flyer in the mail from JCP saying:
This Friday's a big deal.
Every 1st and 3rd Friday the best stuff is moved to its best price.
February 17th marks the 3rd Friday,
so hurry in before all the goods
are good and gone.
What?? I haven't read up on it too much so maybe I just don't understand it completely, but I thought that was the whole deal, that their stuff was always going to be at the best price.

Our store looks nicer than I ever remember it looking. Neat, organized, good lighting. I didn't really look at the prices though b/c we were looking for something specific and couldn't find it. But I agree, the reason I shopped there was b/c of the good sales + coupons, so I probably won't go except as a last resort.

Found the rainboots I have been stalking for $9.xx (70% off plus the extra 5% w/ Target debit card). Very cute, black with different color polka dots. They had lots of shoes/boots 70%.

Were the Godiva pretzels, lindt, and Werthers 75% off?I just went and checked the CVS across the street and they still were at 75% There wasn't anything really great. I looked for all the things posted and no such luck:( I did find a few chocolate Items to us in the prize bags for a bridal shower I am throwing next month. Godiva pretzels, lindt chocolates, Werther candy dish assortment and boxed ribbon candy. I also got a red Hershey kiss to give my DD for Valentines day:gdinlove:

I was at my CVS last night right before closing and they had the M&M's still 50% off and there were literally 50 packs (or more) left, also some hershey kisses and minatures. This morning I went and there was NO candy left. I asked the cashier what happened to them and he said the manager had just packed it all up and took it to the back. ???

most of the stuff at my CVS was still ringing up 50%. There were some things like candy canes, bows, the couple of things of wrapping paper they had left, that were ringing 75% off. Its ridiculous to still have Christmas M&M's for $1.99. You could get them that cheap (or cheaper w/ a coupon) BEFORE Christmas!

Well, it's not as good as I thought it would be. All my friends have raved about how they love it. But I don't like instant coffee so it is much better than any other instant coffee I have tasted. But like PP said it is good for when you don't have time or can't brew a cup. Plus, my friends will be happy to get some of my stash. BTW- my store had probably 40 or 50 packs of this stuff left.Very true statement indeed - I will remember that advice. I am a mixed bag. I really wanted the Planters Almonds so I was all over the floor, and on my knees etc searching through the 4 shelves of nuts to find the last few that were there. I looked at every can in that approximate size. My bigger problem is that I cannot easily spot which items are going to be clearance items. Like pepperidge farm - I love their line and I need to cut back on the sweets (type 2 runs in the family etc) - and to get so cheap - I keep wanting to go back and see if they have more. LOL But why didn't I just check all the boxes the first time... I don't know! I just didn't think of it at the time. I was on a quest to find the almonds & the hello kitty & the grinch. Only found 1 of the 3. Then I ran out of time trying to figure out what was on clearance. I'm pretty sure I saw the MP almond tubs, but I totally would not have thought about scanning them. Thankfully - you all help me out here!
Btw - coffee drinkers is the Via Starbucks any good? It's instant Starbucks right? I only got 4 packs out of the 20 that was there.
Toy clearance - just nothing really exciting me... legos are mostly 15% off - esp the smaller sets. The big sets were 30% but the only one that was plentiful was that Star Wars set.
