I know when you make a layaway at Kmart you have 7 days to bring your receipt back in and have it price adjusted. I don't see why that wouldn't include Black Friday.

No, I have never bought tires on Black Friday... I have to say this... I would be afraid of taking time out of the "busy" day and missing a deal

1. How much money do you anticipate spending the entire week of Black Friday, online and in stores combined? I probably will spend $250 - $500. It depends on if I hid stuff or put things on lay-a-way where I can 2. If you plan on shopping offline on Thanksgiving and/or Black Friday, how many different stores do you predict you'll shop at? We will probably visit about 6 stores, meijers and kmart twice - both Thanksgiving morning and Black Friday 3. Do you anticipate shopping online more than last year, less than last year, or about the same as last year? We don't have credit cards, so I don't do much shopping online at all anymore. Unless its ebay or amazon. When I had a JCP card, the UPS truck loved my house.

I have been going for about 14 years. It started out as my day out alone. Then one by one my kids started going with me and then my mom. Occasionally we take a friend or other relative. But, they usually don't last for a second year. lol

I watch a guy dump his to go breakfast on the car next to him because they parked too close. I remember standing in line for a tv one year. I got it and decided I wanted another so I got back in line. And I got the second one too. Was great they had so many! Everybody that goes with me knows go in get the deals you want and check out. We will go back later to get the other things you need that are just a sale. Doorbusters first! I also love how goofy my oldest kids are when they shop with the lack of sleep that night

My sister collects the snow globes too. She doesn't live near a JCP so I get them for her (when I can or they have them)

Still cheaper than all the ink and paper and wear and tear to print every page of all of them.

My youngest wants a tablet for Christmas....he's killed 2 off brands. Afraid to spend the money on an Apple for him, but if I won lol

Another post got me thinking..... Remember when the stores did GIVE AWAYS to get you to come out early and to their stores first? What ones were your favorites?? I loved Target's Hot Wheels cars with some having special marks on the bottom for door prizes. I also loved JCP Snow Globes. Share your memories

This years list is small... which is fine with me because my budget is smaller this year. But will still have fun helping kids shop for those on their lists on black Friday.

That's how we use to do it too! Now when my mom gets here we give her the laptop and she goes thru the ads she wants to look at. Then we go out Thanksgiving morning and grab a newspaper with our other goodies. Then my mom goes thru those and makes her list. We (my 2 oldest kids and my mom and I ) compare lists and set priority to the order of stores.
