I went to Wal Mart at 9:00 last night and all the pallets were in the isles wrapped in plastic and a wal mart employee was at each pallet and telling people that they could not open them until midnight and that did not go over well at all so at 9:30 the wal mart employees said go for it and although a little frantic at first it went really well. I got everything I wanted. Paula Dean pots, 2 king sheets, 2 twin sheets, Wii MLB, Sunbeam electric throws, shark mop a few DVD's and DS Games, waffle maker, mixer and candle sets. Then to JCP and got collegiate hoodies and the kind down comforter for 29.00 Home by 8 am Great shopping day

Our map was very right on but our wal mart has been remodeled and I don't where everyday stuff is yet.

I agree with you, I also will be very picky on what I spend money on this year. No buying cheap DVD's or anything like that just because it's "cheap"

I loved the ad. Nothing really big I need but I liked the alot of the home items, towels, sheets, comfoter set. PJ's looked good to. I am so excited to see this ad Ready to so what wal mart has to offer. Does Target do offer anything online on Black Friday? And can someone explain how Target does the price adjusting? I've never done this but really need to save some money this year and will do anything to save a dollar!!!

I went to Wal Mart in Waynesboro MS this morning at 7:30 and they only had 2 of the 26 inch TV's and only 2 of the I Tune cards but they over rode the $50 and sold it for $35, and they only had a few of those. The store was almost empty. I was suprised.

At my wal mart which is not a 24 hour store opened at midnight. For the big ticket items we lined up at about 2 a.m. and they gave out tickets and we had to stay I'm line until 5. If u had to make a bathroom break u had to sign out and give our ticket to a wal mart worker and if you wasn't back in 15 min you didn't get your ticket back so the armband thing would be great. Then I could shop for other items rather than stand in line.

I have to say that the way that wal mart handled the black friday situation went very well in my opinion. The store that i went to stayed open all night (which they usually close every night and open in the morning at 6.) The employees just told us the store was open and we were welcome to browse but the cash registers didn't open until 5 a.m. So me and a couple of friends walked around from 12 to 1 a.m. picking up little stuff we needed but not all because they were still putting stuff out. We then got in line for the laptop we stood in line for an hour then a 2 they handed out our tickets and explained the 15 min bathroom break. We asked that if we wanted to go shop could we leave our tickets with a friend and they said no but later came back and said that we could as long as that friend had the ticket and could pay for it. So for 3 hours we took turns going out into the store getting other things we wanted. The whole shopping experience was improved in my opinion because my local wal mart is not a 24 hour one and at 5 it was a mad and crazy dash for everyone.

I just found out that our wal mart is going to be open all day and night thanksgiving. They usually open at 5 a.m. and i could get there at 4 and be one of the first ones in line. But by them staying open all night this ruins my plans. What does everyone think the odds are of getting stuff like the laptop and DS on line I really don't want to spend all night in wal mart

What time does items usually start to sale on line. And how do you do that? Do you go ahead and place the items in your cart and the price changes for the Blackfriday sales prices or is there a place for the blackfriday sale items in a different place on line. Help! I really want to try to buy what i can online that morning.
