Wow, you guys are good! I've barely started... but today I did put some lists together, so that's a start!

We put up lights in November, whenever we have a nice weather day. But, we don't light them up until Black Friday. My 13 year old DD has been asking to put up the tree for months, so she and my DH will put it up on Black Friday and we will decorate it on that Saturday. Can't wait!

I will still shop on black Friday. It's a family tradition for my 16 year old to come with me. We have a nice time together. I will not go out at 5:00 on Thanksgiving though... I'll still be digesting my turkey!

I don't shop at Toys R Us anymore, as I don't have many toys to buy. BUT, there is no way I would go there at 5:00 (or way before to get in line).... what a bummer for the employees and their families.

We also do toothbrushes in our stockings!! I even got one when I was a little girl. We have fun and make a big deal out of stockings, even though nothing costs very much. nail polish, lip stuff, candy, silly toy, car game, makeup, hair stuff, lottery tickets, small gift cards. And, always a chocolate Santa in the toe.

I also have a 16 yr old DD. Some ideas I have for her are the new curling irons that make ringlet curls makeup brushes Starbucks gc hair chalk pretty little liars DVD prom magazines eyelash curler phone case iphone speakers. Of course what she really wants is a car!!!

4 losers... and now that I think of it, I've been to 2 penneys shopping in the last week, and neither one gave me buttons. gasp.

Just got back from Michaels and Walmart.... Got some paper pads at Michaels... then off to brave the chaos of Walmart. Got everything on my list there, except the $3 tin of crockpot recipes. Got 2 pogos for #13, rubbermaid set for $9, 2 Sandisk cards, all 8 Harry Potter movies for $16, $2 each! and lots more. Checkout was disorderly, but didnt' take too long. Got there at 9 out by 1030.

We got our paper and No Kohls ad... thank goodness for GottaDeal!

I got all of my Target (baseball pillow pet, fleece sleep pants) and Best Buy (Sirius radio) online!! Yay. A good start.
