I think we are going to be heading to Epping. Anyone know how far away TRU is from Epping? Who else is going there?? I will be the one dragging her husband along for the fun

I'll probably use cash and store gift cards. I have had issues as well with the credit/debit card machines not working. I liked the idea of buying the gift cards at the grocery store and using the points towards cheap gas. Smart thinking!

I have not decided yet. I am in Western Mass, right next to Vermont, so I have options here in Mass, NY, CT, VT or NH. Last year, we went to Concord, NH, because there was a TRU amongst many other stores. I am not sure if I am doing TRU at all this year, so I am not sure if I will be heading to Concord or not. There is also a Target in Keene NH I know, and I'm not sure of VT. The one closest to me here in Mass is in Hadley and no way I am going that way, same as TRU-closest one is Springfield, NO WAY!

I agree with Hinsdale, nice people! I usually shop there throughout the year for my regular shopping, but last year I went to Concord because more stores are in that area (like TRU). I'm not sure what I am doing yet this year.

Holy cow they are opening at midnight? Is this going to be ALL TRU stores?!

I'm not all that impressed with the TRU ad. The $50 gift card deal with the purchase of the Ipod touch is a good deal, but nothing else is really jumping out at me, and I am not braving TRU for just the Ipod. My hope now rests with Walmart.

I am new here and jumping in to post. I have shopped at TRU for black friday many many times over the past 13 years I have been bf shopping, and after this past year, I think I am done with TRU on bf. I shopped at the Concord, NH store last year, I was there about and hour 1/2 before opening, got in and it was so crowded and the isles were so jampacked, and then combined with everyone's carraiges, you couldn't move. Then the line was wrapped all around through the store like a line at Disney World. I waited in line for about 2 hours.
