  2. I've thought about this before. I have received small RIFD cases that can be used for credit cards and cash that are small enough to fit in front pocket for safety sake. These are great !!  Or even some sort of waist pouch for needed items with clear window for phone( unisex ). both are useful, increases safety, and ensures our hands are free to all of the deals we have scoped out on GD.

    I'm not above begging.

I really, really ,really would like a box ...Pretty Please with whipped cream a cherry and sprinkles on top!! :howdy:

  3. Something my children beg for and I only make at Christmas

    Buckeyes

     1 lb box powdered sugar

1 stick( 1/2 cup) butter softened

1 18 oz jar Peanut Butter( I ONLY use JIFF)

2 bags chocolate chips/ or white chips (melted)

Mix PB and butter till smooth and light, then slowly add P. sugar till all combined ( I use a hand or stand mixer, it gets a little stiff). Roll into balls place on parchment lined cookie sheet and put in

freezer for at least 1 hour. Remove from freezer and dip in your choice of chocolate using a toothpick. Place dipped balls back on lined cookie sheet and freeze till chocolate is set.. Remove from

sheet and store in fridge or freezer till needed.  I tend to make these using a small cookie scoop for amount ,then rolling for shape.

Hint :  if you want them to last find a good hiding place or threaten severe consequences otherwise they wont last long.. this has been my experience.

    ENJOY

  4. We "cut the cord" several months ago and went to Hulu, so I didn't have Hallmark anymore.  I had resigned myself to not getting to watch Hallmark movies this year, at least I had Lifetime on Hulu Live.  College football kicked off last weekend though, and watching on Hulu Live was an awful experience!  We have decided to plug back in and Direct TV will be here today to hook us back up.  Now I don't have to miss any of the Hallmark movies and that makes me even more happy! :)

*I know Hallmark has their own streaming service. I tried it last year to get the HMM movies, and didn't really care for it.

I use a streaming service called friendly..it has all 3 hallmark channels plus about 12 others, has a dvr( cloud based) at no extra charge and is only about 70 dollars a year..I love it!.... they have a 7 day free trial so you might want to give it a go...channels are family friendly too!

  5. I really think as much as I hate to say it I will miss ALL of the anticipation( I hate waiting)...Who , What, When and how much. Along with all of that I am really going to miss all of the interaction at the

brick and mortar stores with some of the nicest people you will ever meet along with the occasional  jerk( who I just tell  "its almost Christmas be happy and have fun").
