  1. Excellent! Now I have a goal for my yard to look like. I hope the neighbours like more lights!
  2. Beth, I got the free printer and free router also. Both my rebate receipts asked for copies of the UPC not the original. I doublechecked that before I mailed them off.
  3. Yes, indeed it is. I must admit I like the Trubrite screen.
  4. I dropped two more in the mailbox tonight!
  5. Yes, indeed I am Canadian born & bred. I am currently here in Oklahoma on a military exchange with the USAF. GottaDealCanada.com - I want in on that when it launches!
  6. I will. I have my wife looking at the site also with her new laptop!
  7. LOL...very true! I want to thank you and Brad for this site and forum. A lot my decision making was made simpler by the information I gleaned from this site & forum. Once again...Thanks
  8. I agree. That's why I camped out at Circuit City for my first BF shopping experience. IMHO it was a better laptop than the ones offered by BB or WM.
  9. I camped out and got the Toshiba L25-S1193 for my wife. She likes it quite a bit and is a good replacement for her old desktop. Her only gripe is that the touchpad is too sensitive but we picked up a notebook mouse today. Not too bad for $199 plus 12/mths AOL @ 14.95!
  10. Yay! Cyber Sunday through Cyber Saturday!
  11. This was my first BF experience. Left home at 11:00PM. In line at CC at 11:15PM. Got a laptop!
  12. Yes, the Circuit City I went to gave out numbered vouchers. No security that I noticed. That sort of made me wonder.

    Boxing Day

kiwi2121, Boxing Day! I miss Boxing Day sales! Unfortunately they don't celebrate Boxing Day down here in the I was out today doing some more shopping. The majority of the big ticket items were only sold on BF but there still were some good sales today. Unfortunately tomorrow may be different as Sunday is the day they start the new weekly sales here in Oklahoma City. Not sure if that is the same up in the northern states were you'll be shopping. Believe it or not I miss the snow!
  15. Psst...It's still 11/26...at least until midnight
  16. Same here. The CC near me was a better choice this BF.
  17. Mailed all 6 of mine today. Hopefully I got them in the mailbox before pickup. Mailbox said 3:45PM and I put them in at 3:47 but no USPS Employees were nearby.
  18. I had planned to spend $400.00 but actually spent $545.00 however I will be mailing $200.00 in rebates soon!
  19. Left home at 11:00PM. Got home at 7:30AM with the laptop from Circuit City!
  20. After reading all the previous posts I seem to have been lucky and got one of the laptops at Circuit City and a very decent shopping experience. I arrived at my local CC at 11:15 PM and see a line up already camped out. I asked how many were there for the laptop and almost all put their hands up. I quite some quick addition and guessed I would luck in and get one of the laptops at 5:00 AM. I set up my chair and got ready to camp out. As the night/morning pressed on the core group of us talked quite a bit and got to know each other. By 2:30 the line now include over 100 people and some of the later customers looked like they might try something underhanded. A group of us near the front of the line made sure nobody acted untoward and enforced a "no idiot" policy. At 4:00AM the CC Asst Mgr came out and explained the voucher & AOL policy. I got voucher # 11 of 15 for the laptop (including bundled printer & router). At 5:00AM the doors opened and we all streamed inside making sure nobody behind us pushed ahead. It was pleasant seeing the "no idiot" policy being enforced throughout the morning. Once inside it got a bit harried but that was to be expected seeing as the line outside was almost a 1/4 mile long. I picked up a few other items on my list but missed the 512MB SD card by milliseconds! Oh well I had my laptop . I did the AOL for Broadband sign-up for $14.95 and waited in line to pay for my items. I waited about 35 minutes in line and was out by 6:15AM. Overall a pretty good experience for my first BF camp-out. The initial group in line were very decent people and the staff at CC did their utmost to ensure BF went well. I stopped by that CC after lunch and thanked the Mgr & Asst Mgr on a job well done. Time to mail in the rebates. :)
  21. I got #11 of 15 here in south Oklahoma City. I was quite happy with the staff at this CC.
