This makes me miss the old days where you stood outside for 3 hours and the doors opened and you ran around the store like someone light a firecracker in your arse....BUT you got everything in under 10 minutes and one to the next store. Not sure which is more painful that or this waiting!

I will be sooo sad if I have to start over.

Hi, hope someone can help advise me on this....everytime a lightning deal clocks down to o and should show itself it takes it about ten seconds..it does not show immediately and by time it does it has a bunch claimed already....So my question is am I doing something wrong in order to see the deal...is it my computer? or connection?

Letting them hold onto $200. plus scares me. Ive never gotten a big item before like the laptop, do they pay on they spot? or could I meet them and then give them the money to pay when Im done getting my things. I was going for smaller stuff like sheets n towels etc.. Was gonna go around 7pm. What time should they go? By the way thanks everyone for all the advice.

My 16 year old and my 14 year old want to go to Wal-Mart with me this year and each get a laptop. They have never been before so I am a little concerned. I will be in the store but not in the line for laptop with them. Is there any rules or circumstances that they could not each get a laptop?

what if anything can I do? I ordered a GPS 129.00 last week and today its on sale for 89.00. Is there anyway to get the difference. Should I order it at the cheaper and send back the more expensive.

Are all 5am doorbusters a wristband item? if not will there be a list of which items are wristband items. Not sure if this is answered somewhere else but will Walmart price match as long as the doorbuster times coincide?

In that ad it also says. Holiday Map at walmart.com enter zip your loca ofl walmart to view a map of the store and find the labeled locations of the products. I went to walmart.com and did not see it guess its not up yet. That will make finding stuff so much better! Great idea Walmart.

I have been looking through different threads trying to find this same answer too LOL. Looks like we among a lot of others Are asking this same question, What's the cheapest laptop, or netbook, or Android for a kid to play games, youtube, and facebook. I beg some computer savy person to tell us what that is...

I'm just peeved with the lack of information on the netbook for 79 in the ad. I am not standing in line for something that may or may not be what I need. Our 5 kids want their own laptops that will let them play online games do youtube and facebook. But from what Ive read the cheaper netbooks don't have adobe which online games and youtube need to run. Im not computer savy and have no idea what that really all means.

The TRU here does no such thing and I wish they did, As soon as the doors open if you don't have a cart you can bypass the people that are pushing one. We learned over the years one person takes the cart and the other goes in the bypassing line. If you don't do it you end up being the 50th person entering the store, when you where the 25th or less in line. The last 2 years at TRU has been almost dangerous. Last year there was a group of ladies in the very front of the line..that continually had people joining them in line.....(When we arrived we where like the 20th people in line. By time the doors opened we where 34.) The people farther behind us where literally going up to the people in front arguing screaming,( which in turn got the whole entire line in a uproar) cops where called 3 different times..... I've never seen such hostility for shopping before!(I blame it on the ZHU ZHU, LOL) Don't get me wrong my mom has gotten off work and joined me in line before...But Ive never had more than one person join me after Iv'e been in line. I also made sure to tell the people around me that my mom is meeting me etc... But when 14 people get ahead of you in like a 3 hour window. It really pisses people off! They should have line control as well. The Target does have line control and monitoring when entering the store. I noticed one year that people just sat in there car until it opened and instead of waiting in the line they just walk up to enter in. Target is the only store I've seen make the people go to the end of line.
