Thanks for posting this. I am probably the only one who is disappointed with it but the really cheap items are no name brands that probably are worth what you pay for them. The ipod is the same deal that I got last weekend' date=' plus I had a storecard discount. My kids are too old for toys and the electronics, other than perhaps the tv is not really a huge bargain. Target had a [b']blue ray player for 99.00 last weekend [/b]by sharp. So the 149. one isn't such a great deal. I think perhaps this year, you could probably do better watching the sales. I am a newbie to BF and am looking forward to it but it seems like many stores, Target and Sears really have non spectacutlar sales this year.
But from what I heard here that one wasn't very good. The one for 149 is a good one. It is 50 off plus you get a 20 gc which takes it to 129 plus another 10 for spending 100 so basically it is 119 if you want to break it down that way which is 20 more than the bad one this week.

Well I just saw an ad on TV for this sale. I was liking that it was just online if you knew where to look. Then it was the top story on Yahoo yesterday and now all over TV. I was hoping to stroll in at 7ish, but now it's looking like closer to 5am just to be on the safe side.
Exactly. What was the point of me signing up for the emails and such if it was going to be every where.

I bought my 5 year old niece an Easy Bake Oven that was 18.00 on Amazon. I know Target has it for 14.99 right now if you use the coupon out of the toy book.

Since we don't have kids I leave stuff at work or in my trunk. If it is something big enough I will leave it at my mom's house. He is usually pretty good about not snooping though.

I would have done more but I ran out of paper! Stopped at the store after I took the kids to school today so I hope to get more done today. Keep in mind I have over 70 people to buy for so I have to start early. My 3 kids alone will get 18 gifts each. Happy Wrapping All!

I have to. I make a budget and do my best to stick to it. I spend 30 on everyone. If it is between 30-35 then it is ok, but I don't do much more than that.
I will be using excel this year. I usually do a list of who/what I want to buy first. Then as I buy I put what I bought and the amount.

Started....shoot I got 34 gifts wrapped today! But congrats on your start!lol Btw those cool cook ovens suck...DD8 got one for x-mas last year and only used it once. She loves her easy bake oven tho!

I got my niece an easy bake oven, a baking kit (apron, oven mits, hat, towl and spoon) and a refill of the sugar cookie/chocolate chip cookies.
I am so excited for Christmas.

2 of the 3 in our area have closed in the last year also. They don't get much business here with there being 3 super walmart and meijer

Every year I say I will wrap as I go, but some how I always end up doing it the weekend before in front of a Christmas movie (usually Christmas vacation) and there are some that I wrap on Christmas Eve.
I have a problem with taking them back or buying to much.

I don't have any further information on the items- I'd assume that because the Panasonic states plasma, the others are LCD.

crappy ad this year. I saw a few kids outfits i will get but that's on the two day sale. Anything else I want. I plan to price match. Not as good of an ad this year. I hope they don't all look like this.

It's been rumored that if you spend $100 or more on BF at Target, you'll get a $10 GC. I guess we'll wait and see if it's true.
I hope this is true. I spend 100 there anyways, plus I am hoping they have a good bundle for the Wii and also a tv. We could rack up a nice bonus.

With DD15 and DD18 I give them a deadline for their list. Normally after Thanksgiving I don't let them change anything!
That is what I do with my sister who is 18, but it then I usually find something else for her.
Any news on the Saturday Sale for 11/14???

If that is true I am going to be there Saturday. We want a Wii bad but have been waiting. I wont wait anymore. I will take that gift card and buy us a games and a remote and still have some for a present for someone else.
