The big thing I got was the Wii at Meijer (along with the $50 coupon). Went to the store closest to me instead of heading straight into Grand Rapids and am glad I did - it provided me with the best BF entertainment.... Someone jumped the counter to get one and a lady in front of me yelled at store management to do something about it, the guy tries picking a fight with her, gets kicked out of store, she tells them what's going on (the line, BTW, was from the very back of the store all the way to the front) and they actually did something about it, getting a round of applause from those of us in line :)
The only problem I seen on BF was in TRU, when a lady got pissed bc she couldn't get around in the store to shop and was frustrated and yelled at another lady...The other lady told her if she couldn't f*n handle it, she should have stayed at home!

Yup! My hunny worked midnights last night so he brought me one about 4ish?? The only ad I don't have is a TRU ad....the 1st on my list. I got a JCP one, Sears etc. they are in the same area. So I guess I will have to get one when we go to my mom's for lunch. We already got 6 of the local papers...You should see my table....it's covered in ads!! I LOVE IT!:)

Thanks. I didn't know TRU would let you pay via paypal. I really hope that smores pony is on there tonight. I have to pick one up for a co worker and that will be less for me to get on BF.

For people worried about pushing a cart around, a couple of ideas:
- I don't know who sells them, but at flea markets and such I always see people pushing/pulling a smaller personally-owned cart: maybe 3 ft tall, about 1 1/2 ft length and width, with little wheels at the bottom rear corners. It wouldn't have quite as much space as a regular cart, but it would get into tighter spaces and save you from having to carry everything around in your arms!
- What I do is: when I get there around 2:30 or 3:00, I first head to the Rubbermaid storage box aisle. I find the biggest box (not a see-thru) that will sit in my cart and lay the lid on its side between the box and the side of the cart. Then I head off to do my price matching and scouting out what's where. All of my items go inside the box, with either my jacket or clothing I'm buying covering any "hot" items. Then if I NEED to go down any aisles that are too crowded for my cart, I park it as close as possible (making sure I can still see it from where I'll be) and put the lid on the box. I remove it again as soon as I get back to my cart-- I feel this not only keeps people from being tempted by items in my cart that they want, but even if they see me put something in there and want to take it, there's no way they could manage to take that huge lid off there, find the item, and take it without being noticed!! (FYI- I've never had anything taken out of my cart by doing this, and I've never had any problems with WM employees concerning this either!)
Oh, and if I decide I don't want the box, I just leave it at the check-out-- the cashier may even want to keep it there to contain all those items people leave laying around the register!
Great idea! I will try that this year.

FYI... manager of the store in Janesville, WI stated today that all items will be out and can be loaded in the carts to check out at 12am. Just can't get the prices on the 5am items until 5am. So in theory the store could fill at 12:30am, with no one checking out until 5am, and 5am items sold out before the start time. In my opinion, this is one of the most asinine things I've seen in years.
For me that would mean I'd get out sooner and go to my other places to shop since I don't have anything I'm buying from the 5a sale.
What city will you be shopping in this year?
