I have been! My 5 year old daughter loves it because she said she will finally know all of the words to 'Santa Claus is Coming To Town' this year.

I love the wrapping of Christmas books idea! Ours is pretty simple - the kids get pajamas on Christmas Eve. These are the only presents that are under the tree before Santa comes and I always put it out after BF. My son started to pick up on it so I started wrapping them in big boxes, or putting bells in it, or a bunch of crayons so he would be thrown a little because these presents get PLENTY of shaking before Christmas. My youngest was so mad last year when she opened her pajamas she threw them at me and started crying but was quickly happy again when I reminded her about Santa coming. I LOVE Christmas!!

I didn't say the apps wouldn't work (Kindle Fire is Android afterall). I said that you couldn't install the Android Market without rooting. Yes, you can sideload but if you don't have an Android device already it's going to be extremely difficult (not to mention trying to explain to someone how to extract the APK). So therefore, the easy answer is that you have to root the Kindle. Either way - Amazon App Store is matching the prices.

As far as I know they will only work if you root your kindle. Otherwise you can't install the Android Market. The Kindle is an Amazon product so they only want you to use the Amazon marketplace. But Amazon Marketplace does 1 free app a day and some of them are pretty good!

I had ordered me the Keurig Special Edition coffee pot on 11/27 (around $114 with tax). The fedex tracking info never changed from label information sent to Fedex. I had emailed them several times and called them and they kept saying to wait another day. Finally yesterday I got an email that Fedex had an error and they had to cancel my order but if I reordered it they would honor the price I got it at. There was no way I would going through that again so I took the Emails into Kohls this morning and they honored the price AND used a 20% coupon on top of it. So I got it for about $92 out the door. The price was worth the wait and hassle. :) I have one more order from them I am waiting on. Let's see how long this one takes, or if it ever makes it...

I ordered something 11/26 and it says it shipped the next day and they sent the Fedex tracking number and the tracking information still says "Shipment information sent to FedEx". I am supposed to get it anytime from 12/6 - 12/9. I contacted Kohls through Facebook and they said if I don't receive it by the 9th to contact them again. I am normally pretty patient but I am SO excited about this! :) I had placed another order on 12/1 and one part of it will be here Friday and the other 3 pieces just shipped a few hours ago. I'm just glad they haven't cancelled anything on me like Toys R Us did!

I can't wait!!! I can't share my excitement with my husband because he thinks it's way to early but I know everyone here is excited!

I go with my Mom while DH stays home with the kids. I usually am the line holder and My mom goes around gathering items. She may be short but shes vicious!

I haven't had any exciting experiences.. It's Black Friday.. Lots of Pushing, Yelling and throwing! But my favorite moment was when we me and my Mom were waiting at Menards for an hour for them to open only to realize they didn't open for ANOTHER hour... which worked in our favor because we went next door to Wal-Mart and hit them at opening, got our stuff then made it to Menards at opening. Just regret that hour waisted in the cold!! This year I'm keeping a list of all the stores and what time they open!
