Guessing the half carat is a round with the 1 carat being a fancy shape? If you go to pricescope dot com they have a toolbar at the top where you plug in the specs of the diamond and give average prices from different sellers to make sure it's a good deal. If all of that checks out i would check with my girlfriend. Some women are allergic to nickel that gold is plated with or other metals and can only wear silver. But on the flip side some women prefer larger diamonds where others prefer a more understated look. It depends on your future fiancé and her preferences with diamond shape and size and any possible allergies or preferences with metals.

It was $28.88 on BF. The SO and I had a hand me down featherbed topper that was too big and always moving at night so I picked one of these up for us. Unpacked it in the morning after we both got out of bed and laid it flat so it could air out and puff up a bit more. That night we put it on top of the mattress blue side up under the fitted sheet. Verdict after almost a week: We love it!! I can definitely feel the difference on top of our pillow top and it doesn't move around like our old topper did. I also do notice the "cool fusion" part of it when you get a bit warm and shift to another part of a bed it is noticeably cooler. Some mattress pads do suck the heat it but I haven't noticed that with this one. The true test would be in the summer!

Brad- I know it's not a big deal, but could you get the Hot and Cold cups on the ad listing from page 34? I REALLY need to get at least 5-10 and don't want to forget them!

I agree with Tink. This may persuade me from buying more from them this year purely because I hate paying for shipping.

It's only an estimation. We could get Targets BF ad today for example because we can not determine the exact day we will receive each one. An example for the opposite would be for us not to receive an ad at all, and you would only see that ad in your newspaper on Thanksgiving.

Already very excited!! I became recently unemployed as of the 1st so I'm going to really need BF to save some money on presents for the nieces and nephews. No electronics for me this year.

So theoretically, if they are offering $ off coupons now, those will be gone by the time BF comes around? The 47" TV has $40 off now. They won't allow an additional $80 off from this price correct? It will be from the original price?

Hey Brad, I think your elves might have missed the two pack of pre-lit porch trees in the item list. I wanted to ad it to "My List" but it wasn't there.

I used to work at World Market and depending on the ad, we received the boxes of them two to three weeks ahead of time.

I love those little porch trees. Wonder if I could use the 50% coupon also...

So far there aren't any sales on the Kindle 3 unless you want to look on EBay. It just came out, if there aren't any sales on BF or for Christmas there won't be one. I don't think it will be any cheaper than it is now. Possibly a gift card with purchase. Unless the Nook 2 is much cheaper when it comes out, Amazon won't lower it's price. It's at a pretty great price point now.

I second Sedu. I love mine. Going on three years and it still works perfectly. Highly recommend Folica also.

You definitely need a cover. If he wants a Kindle than I think you should go with what he wants. There are pluses and cons for each one but those are the choices each of us make. I don't think a replaceable battery is a reason to forget the Kindle completely. Most of us that use electronics such as iPods do not need the option to replace the battery. I personally did not like the reviews I read on the Nook about problems with the LCD screen interacting with the e-ink screen and that it was laggy when I tested the controls out.

Another thing to think about is that B&N will probably come out with a new Nook soon. Maybe not as soon as BF soon, but soon. If you prefer the features over the Kindle, might want to wait for the new one.

Which size are you looking for? The largest is a great deal at Costco. It comes with the largest reservoir, several boxes of Kcups and the my K cup that let's you use whatever coffee you want. I forget the price off hand and as I am in class cannot check their site. I know it's on there though.

Been going out on BF since 2000. But have started getting up around midnight to 2-3AM to go out since 2006.

I am about to buy an eReader myself, although I'm leaning toward the Kindle end. I don't know if there will be the Nook 2 in time for Black Friday, so we shall see. Target might be giving a gift card with purchase, but Amazon did not discount the Kindle at all last year as far as I remember (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I think I might pull the plug and get the Kindle 3 before BF though, because my boyfriend works at Target and has an extra 10% off card that he can use on top of his discount for any one day. That would be 20% off the total price. I don't think there would be a better deal in my opinion than that. There are many links through google if you search Kindle vs. Nook if you want to see some comparisons also.

I was seriously disappointed with the 600tc sheet sets that Target sold last year. After two washes they were frayed and really rough. Bummer.
