We went 75% on most of the toys except seasonal toys!!!!! Will post my finds later

I am so hoping this Thurs as we are on vacation & I have spent my whole vacation going to Target check, LOL. If it doesnt go I will have to go home & stalk all the Targets there & restash my goodies:(

A couple of my Targets are fine about asking for prices but we have a few older lasies who get REALLy REALLY pi$$ed when you ask them. I found this one cool guy at the toy clearence after Christmas & he was so cool about helping me & my friends, when he found good stuff he even came & told me.. what an angel . We are on vacation right now so I dont know any of the team members here which sucks big time

Our stores markdown day for toys is Thurs & they usually do it in the morning. I will be there at 8am. How does this work??? Ok so say they are gonna be marking the toys down on Thursday but are really busy doing other stuff first thing & dont get to pricing it until the afternnon, how would it work if I took a clearence toy to a team member who has one of those scanners that they use to bleep all of the clearence stuff that prints out the red stickers & had them scan it to see how much it scans at. Surely if they are gonna out the toys at 75% off say in the afternoon it will show up on that machine. I know it wont change on the pricecheckers are around the store until they are scanned it with their machine first. Does that make sense to anyone, LOL , I know what I am trying ti say but not sure if it came outthe way I want. I guess I mean if I go into the store Thurs morn & nothing in toiys have been marked down then if I take one of my items that I am looking to get at 75% have them scan it I will know if they plan on marking it down at all that day because the Target system will have all the mark downs for that day stored into that machine!!!

Our baby stuff is still on 15% - 30% clearence & there isnt much of that there. The toy departments at my 2 stores here are a MESS!!!! Stuff everywhere, I have completly lost track of all the stuff I have stashed & even stuff that I havent stashed,alot the clearence has been been taken off & isnt anywhere found which is rather scarey. I am just hoping it goes Thursday, I am so over going everyday & not getting anything. Anyone elses store re-setting??

To me it points to faster as it means they are going to be getting the Christmas toys in & need to get them displayed. Once this stuff has arrived at the stores they need to get the seasonal outdoor playstuff gone so they can expand the toy department. Alot of the toy makers bring out special packaging & new items just for Christmas & then advertise them on TV from now till Christmas, they are usually the things that go on clearence after Christmas.

Ok, so a couple of days ago I said they were re-setting the toy dept in on of my targets but not the other one, well this morning they were resetting the toy dept in the other Target. They seem ti be making a clearence aisle in the boys section for the boys stuff & a seperate aisle for the girl clearence toys in the girl section... thats new to me. The seasonal outdoor toys (playwonder slip n slides etc etc ) were still in place. I may pop back this arvo to have alook & see how they have gotton on. Picnic still 75%, they have squished it all together & I wouldnt be suprised to see it on an endcap tomorrow as it really got pick through yesterday. No other changes except that someone bought the 2 desk lamps that I had been keeping an eye on, they were bronze in color & were ment to be $39.99 each & had gone to 50%off but that was still to much for me, I was hoping to get them at 75% off but no luck .. very upsetting as they would have looked great on my desk Keep the updates coming ;)

Picnic is now 75%, bought a few extra things & lots of Margarita & mojito mixes . Toys still the same, one of my Targets now has a clearence aisle that is half full with boys stuff, they have yet to pull the girls stuff from the regualar shelves, thinking they may do that this week.

No change this morning when I went, picnic was still 50%, no changes in the toy department. I think that the picnic stuff does go 90% but dont quote me

Got kinda scared this morning as I went into my second target at 9am, they were re-setting the toys department, there was stuff everywhere. There was no change in prices. They had all of the boys clearence toys in carts in the center of the aisles. I had a good snoop through & had the very unobliging sales associate check the prices on a couple of items on her bleepy zapper thingy & they were still 50% off. Legos were still at 15%. Infant car seats & pak n plays were now at 30%. Picnic still 50% but they had cramed it onto one side of an aisle so they had sold alot yesterday when it first went 50% off as there was TONS there yesterday, There were some boys jeans, shirts & tshirts for 75% off so I got a few for my oldest son. Electronic games for the WII, PS3 were all at 30%.

I wonder if the girl is getting confused with when the weekly specials change on a Sunday. I would be very suprised to see then go on Sunday & I wanted to have the weekend off & have a lie in, LOL

Ok, just got back from 2 Targets. The toys didnt go!!! There were alot of seasonal outdoor toys that hadnt even been marked at 30% when I was there yesterday (Play Wonder range, slip n slides, backyard habitats, kites, sand toys etc etc) & they were making those at 30% today. They put board games from 30% to 50%. Legos were still at 15% but my guess is that they will go to 30% aswell. I now think that these prices will stick for the next week & that they will all go to 75% off next Wednesday or Thursday. Picnic was now at 50% which went quick,it only went to 30% on Monday, I am thinking that they want that gone by the weekend. Infant baby stuff was still at 15%, shoes hadnt changed they were mainly 50% with a few at 30%. Kids clothes were still at 30% with a few items at 50% but nothing I was interested in. Everything in home decor (pillows/cushions & some lamps & decrotive items) was still at 50%. The only Didj games at my store that are 50% off are Super Chicks & Fosters Immaginary Friends. Tiki racing & Neopets went 75% off about 6 weeks ago.

There really is alot going at 30-50%, one of the store near me is almost depleated in the toy department before even going 75%, I am really worried that I am not going to get all that I want. I have had a nightmare about it & DH thought I was even more of a basketcase than usual, LOL. I did also go back again this afternoon after coming out of the movies just to see if they were moving anything around or making an aisle for clearence but no change at all since I was last there at 8am this morning.

Went again first thing this morning & no change in toys. They had all the new car seats in & had some pak n plays for 15% off. a few more Playstation 2 games in Electronics but all at 30% off. It was a rather boring trip.

Both my Targets have clearenced out the car seats & I have noticed a few other things like the Baby Bijorn at 30% aswell, I will have a look today when I go & see if anything has changed. My stores have no car seats left, they are re-setting but havent had the new stuff in yet... it looks so bare there!! Heading off in a few mins to check on the toys...will report later

Just got back from the 2 stores near me, nothing had changed in the toy department as far as pricing but they did have 4 endcaps yesterday & those toys that were on them had been reintergrated into the regular toy aisles. They dont seem to be making a couple of clearence aisles like they did after Christmas, eberything is still scattered throughout the regular priced toys. I just a few strange looks from the members of the toy team for doing the exact same thing as I have done for the last week, LOL . There was some home wear cushions/ scatter pillows that were 30% yesterday that were now 50%. The Smith & Hawkins range that is usually by the art & craft & staionary supplies that has seasonal artificial plants, door mats & door wreaths is now at 50% but its still to much for me to justify spending even though I really like the stuff. I also noticed that they are resetting car seats in the baby section. I picked up a Britax Marathon car seat for 30% off which I dont usually buy but they are $300.00 in BRU so it was a good deal. Seasonal picnic & tablewear was still 30% & they were setting up BTC (BACK TO COLLAGE) which is what alot of the staff seemed to be focusing on. Shall be back tomorrow to check on those toys

I live in Loxahatchee, I take RPB, Lake Worth & used to take Palm Beach Lakes whilst my girlfriend in Wellington watches Lantana, Lake Worth, Congress & Hagen ranch. How funny is that,I am sure you will see my girlfriend when the toys go 75%. She will have 2 girls in tow & be stocking uo for me as I am out of town until the first week of August. Its kinda nice shopping like this with someone as we always watch out for each other. When we are waiting the big clearences we split the week up & take days so we dont have tpo drag the kids out evey morning,LOL. I am sure you must pi$$ off the same employees we do especially when the seaonal stuff goes to 90% & they then saalvage it but we always manage to find some that shows up NOF, they HATE us

Hi Ladies I am new here & just stumbled accross this Target thread, great to know there are some fellow Target stalkers like myself . Was at my local Target as usual when it opened, they had changed a few toys that were already marked down at 30% to 50% but only a few,mainly girl toys. The seasonal picnic outdoor section that is next to BTS is now marked down at 30%.
