I just got back from my store in NJ. There was no markdown activity at all. All the small appliances in kitchen/ housewares were still at mostly 30 percent off. They have been changing around the usual department markdowns the last couple of weeks. I wish I could figure out a pattern.

I checked the bulk section in my two closest stores today and it was gone and replaced by outdoor furniture/lawn & garden:(. Funny thing is yesterday they both had the big bulk items like the lamps, barstools, silverware and today it was all gone. I checked all over the store too. The bulk food was gone too and they had a bunch last night. I wonder if they just put it in the back to make room for the reset or salvaged it. I'm glad I found some food at 50 off at another store yesterday. The bulk health & beauty was on the end caps in that section, but most was 30 off. Has anyone seen the bar stools, stainless silverware or corelle plates at 75 off?

It was the Rockaway, NJ Target. I also went to East Hanover and some Valentines things were ringing 90 percent while others were INF. Bulk foods were at 50 percent...oatmeal, pudding snack packs. Jif peanut butter 2 packs were 75 off.

Valentines was INF at my store in NJ today.

I found most of my 90 percent Valentines clearance in the regular aisles. Barbie travel cups, notecard tins, gift bags and post-it's were on an end display in toys. Bubbles were with the Summer toys and in a pink bottle with boy & girl Cupids. Dove candy was mixed in with the regular candy. Striped place mats were on an end cap in the Domestics section. A pink pig piggy bank with white hearts was on an end cap with the Easter piggy banks.

I scanned it yesterday...it was $5.00, so not 90 percent like the other Ken/Barbie stuff.

Do they have any lights left in Rockaway? I was there on Sat. and they had a decent amount. I'm not going to bother with 90%...if it even happens...if the lights are all gone. Do any of you Northern, NJ shoppers remember when toys went 75% last year...was it a Wednesday or a Thursday?

Does anyone have a guess when the craft sets, markers, crayons...will be marked down again?

Tons of make-up was clearanced to 75% off today. Some was free with the Loreal insert and printable coupons. Possible free Revlon too with the Target and manufacturer coupons.

I posted about finding that tent at 75%. My store clearanced the camping a couple of weeks ago, so I would imagine it has been salvaged or is back at full price now or is the newer model if still on the shelves. Like a previous poster said, online and in store are usually not the same.

Does anyone know if any NJ stores (Middlesex County and North) have the Leapsters at 75% off. I checked yesterday and they were still $39.99.
