Got the Backpack & dress yesterday! OK... ( I ) couldn't wait til easter so I gave it to her yesterday!! One Happy Little Girl!

Daughter is 11. She has 6 different dolls. It is a tradition between her & her nana each christmas. This Christmas was the first time she didn't get a doll. She choose to be a bed set instead. But It's has just became a grandmother/granddaughter tradition. She displays them in her room. The only time she really plays with them is if she has a friend over & they will change clothes & do the dolls hair. I would like to think she will hand them down to her children one day. They are high quality dolls that should last a very long time.

Saw one closing in Knoxville, TN this weekend. Went in. Not much there. Selling racks & then things were 30% - 50% off. Most of the good stuff must have been sent to other stores cause they only had crappy stuff. Everything seemed expensive even with discount. Micro mini ravioli was $1.39 with discount! Ridiculous. There is still a K-mart in Maryville (15-20 minutes) away. It's actually clean. Not nasty like most K-marts.

Ours is only 30-60% off now. I agree they've got to discount way more to interest me.

I knew I shouldn't have looked....Now I have to go!

Goody’s liquidating remaining stores Goody’s Family Clothing plans to liquidate its remaining stores, according to a report Tuesday by the Reuters news agency. The privately held chain emerged from bankruptcy this past October. Reuters quotes Cathy Hershcopf, a bankruptcy partner at law firm Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, as saying, “The company is in the processes of obtaining bids to liquidate substantially all collateral and inventory. The retail environment is very difficult and they did not have sufficient capital to weather the bad times.” Going-out-of-business sales will begin as early as Friday, Hershcopf told Reuters. Was in there yesterday (Tue) noticed several 50/60/80% off! Bad for Them... Good for US....:)
