Oh man that's a tough one. Gaming laptops are usually expensive, but it really depends on what games you plan to play. Mind telling us what games you plan on playing? For something like World of WarCraft, you could probably get away with a decent $600-$800 laptop.

I've seen some small camcorders being sold online for a good price, they seem rather generic though so not too sure about the quality. But they do look pretty cool, and might come in handy for when you're on a trip and don't want to lunge around a standard sized thing. So that might be worth looking into, not sure of any specific stores but on eBay you should be able to find them.

I've been cheap lately, but probably won't be spending much this year. Might just get myself a decent gift.

The problem is that some people get carried away with these good deals and tend to go for them no matter what which results in chaos. It's similar to what you usually see in cartoons or movies when it starts to rain money, people go wild. And if I was rich enough, I'd actually test that out to prove a point..
