Netbooks (at least my niece's) do not have a CD or DVD drive so you can't use it as a portable DVD player
So do any such mini notebooks exist, because that would be the all time mini notebook for me!!

My family has Thanksgiving dinner one day before thanksgiving, and then on thanksgiving day we all head out to BB with our thanksgiving left overs. Its become a sort of tradition. Its pretty neat now that I think about it. Traditional yet untraditional at the same time

I am looking to replace my TV and desktop with newer ones, new mp3 also need alot of computer stuff. Maybe some movies....toys for christmas for the kiddies and clothes.

I think a major factor in the lackluster Best Buy ads lately has been the lack of major competition as more retailers go out of business (for example, Circuit City). I don't see any new competitors popping up before BF so I'm not expecting Best Buy to run a killer ad and destroy its gross margins.
I heard somewhere that Walmart is going to become BB's new next "big" competetor? Obviously WM is really not up to date on technology with their electronics, but who knows maybe with the lack of competetors it might be true.

I hope it's better. The past two years just haven't been that great for me. I don't know if it's because the deals have been lacking or I just have not been in the market for what seems to be really popular sales items. Either way I'm wishing hard for some of those Black Friday's of years past where I come home with my car packed to the brim!!
That is exactly my feeling also! I just want to be able to make my dollar stretch to the max this year...

Wow, a relative of mine had a very serious problem with sears. She bought a washing machine and later had to change it because it was acting up. Well they exchanged it for her but charged her for it also so she was being charged for two washing machines on her credit. She had hell getting the old machine off her credit, it took her almost two years of fighting with them!

I haven't heard anything but I really hope it is Macy's that would have to do that!!!I will never shop for make-up at Macy's ever again but I REALLY HOPE they are the ones who were sued!!!
Actually, the news mentioned some of the stores and one of the stores they said was Macy's also Saks Fifth Ave. and Bloomingdales others too but I can't remember. I have been trying to find some info online but can't seem to find anything:(

Has anyone heard anything about that law suit having to do with some stores which has resulted in the stores giving away free makeup on tuesday January 20th. This story just aired on a news cast where I live here in CO. It was a bit scetchy , if anyone knows more I would really appreciate it!

My Target and Walmart still have them for $99.Ive seen them online in various stores to for $99.Dont give up keep checking.
My local walmart here in Lakewood, CO has it on sale for $99 also. They had him on display and I was soooo tempted to buy him but I know I can't afford it. They also had Sleeper blanket pajamas for $3 for toddlers up to 5T, Cars Inc. Handi Mani, Tinkerbell, Disney princess and Mickey Mouse. They also had $3 Hannah Montana Tanktops. I don't know if its just here though?

got a response from customer service. They contacted the store. The manager called me and apologized, and I was told the bathroom is available for customer use. They were extremely nice.

My family knows this dessert as "dulce" or literaly translated means "sweet"
1 cup chopped pineapple chunks ( can also be canned, must be drained before mixing)
1 cup of chopped Peaches ( can also be canned, must be drained before mixing)
2 cups of chopped apples (peeled,rinsed and chopped)
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups of sour cream
After you've chopped all of the fruit you simply mix it all together in a big bowl along with the sour cream, sugar and the pecans. Then you refrigerate for about 1 hr. Serve cold or at room tempeture.
This recipe is very versitile, you can change the type of fruit you add by adding more or less. You can change the amount of sour cream you add and even use low fat or fat free sour cream according to your desire of creamy consistancy. You can add any type of nuts and you can add as little or as much sugar as you like according to your taste!
