4 day sale?
in 2011
I have the 4 day ad in hand. I don't have the ability to scan it but on the front page they have the nintendo 3ds for $145. A few lego sets for $14. The lion king and pirates of the caribbean blue ray combo packs for $17.99. Board games for $8 each. Then there is a $5 coupon off 2 board game in the ad making it a better deal.
Inside the ad they have the wii for $149.99 but it also includes super mario bros. and the Zelda game.
Nook color for $199.99 and comes with a $30 gift card.
Thanks Smurfgirl! I can't wait to set my eyes on the ad. The board games sound interesting...

Ok I am torn between these and the Happy Nappers. By 3 and 4 yo keep asking for both of these. Does anyone have both? Which would you recommend?
My dd loves her Pillow Pet and is kind of stuffed animal crazy right now. She really wants a Happy Napper. I was able to find one at our local Bilo when they were clearancing them for around $7. I am hiding it at Grandma's until Christmas so I don't know what she thinks of it yet. I think the Pillow Pet is more of a pillow than a "pet" she sleeps on it every night but never plays with it. And the Happy Napper is more toy looking to me than pillow. You can stuff the animal into the outer zippered "house" case, but it seems like it would be lumpy to sleep on. The Happy Napper did seem very soft, but don't know how it holds up to play yet.

This price is better than ToysrUs BF price. You do have to purchase a separate helium tank for this.
I really don't think this pic is going to come up...

4 day sale?
in 2011
It wouldn't take much to beat their BF ad this year though, imo.
Sad but true.
I will get to see the ad tomorrow as it comes in my friday paper.
I'm so jealous! Can you share please?
sorry misread the post
No problem! I just wanted to clarify my op for anyone who didn't know about last years sale. Hope I didn't come across wrong.
Hoping the ad is awesome and makes up for the lackluster ads I've seen so far. I really need some good toy deals!

I always buy new winter pj's, clothes and jackets for the kids. And look for deals on toys and DS/Wii games. Might look for movies for the kids this year too. And dh needs new slacks for work. I'm glad not to be in the electronics mayhem every year.

4 day sale?
in 2011
I think they always do a 4 day sale because that's how many days are left from the sunday-wednesday before Thanksgiving. It's their regular sunday ad.
They do of course always have a 4 day ad, but last year their ad had some deals that were even better than some of their bf prices. I was waiting outside the door on Sunday morning and I wasn't the only one. Thankfully I was the only one looking for toys, everyone one else wanted electronics. I really hope their 4 day ad is as good as last years. I liked it better than their bf ad.

4 day sale?

Last year Target had a great 4 day sale before bf. Has anyone seen the ad yet? I'm hoping they have some good toy sales. -
My shirt was in the mail today! I can't wait to wear it. Thank you so much Brad!

It looks like the collections ect free shipping and 10% code expired yesterday. The pillow pets are still less than $10 and you can get an extra 20% off if you sign up for e-mails, but the shipping was over $6 for one pet. Wish I had seen that deal yesterday!

Thank you so much for this! I knocked off a couple more gifts for my dd.
-
Sorry, I'm guessing that is a Target coupon right? Well $15 is still a good price if you can find one.
-
Not sure about the coupon working, probably not. But depending on the age of your child you might want to try the Tag reader. My dd has both the reader and the jr. She likes both, but she uses the reader more often. I have read that the tag reader will also read the jr's books but not vice versa. I was hesitant to buy the reader for my dd because I was worried she might break the reader or tear the books, but she hasn't yet. We bought it for her last Christmas when she was 2 1/2 and she still uses the reader, but not the jr so much. I recently saw the Toy Story Tag Reader on clearance at Kmart for $15 after the extra 50% toy clearance sale. Maybe you could use your coupon on the clearanced reader if you can find one.

KC...so THAT'S why I haven't found any tissues. JK...I still have a few boxes from last Christmas so I probably don't need any, anyway.
Were the chips still there when you left the State Line store? That is kind of a haul for me, but I may be able to convince myself to drive down if there were still a bunch on the shelf.
Oh, and I also found the Planters almonds...was coming back here to post about them in fact!!
Last...I scanned the Christmas lego packs (Harry Potter and another one) and they were both full price. (Yes, I went back over my lunch hour!)
Thanks for checking! You saved me a trip. They may have only have been .39 on clearance, but I'm sure I would have walked out of there spending much more.
-
Question...has anyone tried scanning the Lego sets that are in with the Christmas stocking stuffers? I'm wondering if those will be 90% off, too. I remember last year it happened with the Polly Pockets...somehow the Christmas ones got coded in with the Halloween ones.
Hmmm....
Oh boy, I think I need to swing by Target after Dh gets home! I'll let you know if I find out before you do. They make great stocking stuffers.

The last couple of years I had an e-mailed coupon for an extra 15% off that was good on BF. And I was able to use it more than once. I even passed it in line to my Mom. Sign up for their e-mails and they will send you coupons frequently.
-
I went last night and found a few things at 70%. I found a few girls t-shirts 70% off not marked, but obviously Halloween in the girls dept. Also found some Lego Ninjago and Star Wars bagged figures by the checkout that were not Halloween, but ringing up 70% off I guess because they were in the system the same as the small Halloween toys they had. My store only had the white ninjago, but I've seen red and black there before. The Star Wars Lego was a space ship. They were almost $4 a piece, but I paid $1.19 each. My store had an entire aisle of costumes left, but nothing I wanted at 70%. I looked for the Squinkies and Zoobles in the regular aisle, but nothing looked Halloweenish to me. Can anyone tell me which one's are on clearance?

Thank you so much Brad! I am so excited!

Waiting for the ads and checking Gottadeal several times a day just in case one has been posted. Planning for weeks and then shopping with my Mom for hours without the kids.

###081040698 Washable Colored Bubbles - $2.08 ea
They had these in blue, green, yellow and pink. Not sure if I'll use them for stocking stuffers or save them for Easter!
If these are the Crayola washable bubbles, they got terrible reviews on Amazon. 34 out of 34 reviewers gave it one star. Apparently they stain clothing and skin.

The Mattel web-site has the castle listed without the princesses as $149.99. If you subscribe to the Mattel site, they send out on-line codes for things like free shipping and sale codes. They just sent me a 20% off and free shipping code that was only good on the 13th. I seem to remember getting lots of e-mails from them last year in Nov/Dec. I wouldn't wait too long to purchase if you find a good deal on it. Last year Mattel sold out of the Barbie Dream House weeks before Christmas.

Some toys were extra 20% off, total ~ 60%
Did you find anything good? The toy clearance at my store was kind of sad. A lot of toys are leftover from the October clearance.
