I didn't get to go in today until after my hubby came home tonight. Yesterday they still had around 20 Barbie dresses and tonight they were all gone. Oh well, you win some you lose some. I didn't want to pay around $10 for it. I did get a nice suitcase 70% off so now I don't have to fight my dh for the big one! : )

Anyone think the toys that are still 50% will be marked 70% this week or next? I've been stalking some Barbie dresses for dress up. My store has probably 20 of them.

No 70% in toys here either. I did get some men's merona flannel sleep sets for 70% off though. They were $5.98 on sale.

I went today and it was 70%...not 75%. Must be following Targets lead. Even after 70% the lights I wanted were $8.99! No wonder no one was buying them.

I'm done too! I had to dump my cart and put everything back in before the prices would change. I almost gave up, but now have most of my kids list done!

I've been watching the Pokemon tins and trashpacks and skylanders Giants and none of them have changed either. Really tired of watching my cart. I've been checking all day just in case they went on sale early. I guess they want us to get the full black friday experience. If we can't wait at the store we can wait online!

So I accidentally closed the screen after waiting on hold for 50 minutes and had to reenter all my credit info ect and it went through! I really paid for those pj's. On the plus side, I don't need to go to Target tomorrow! Or Kohls! Just waiting for Toysrus now.

Anyone else having trouble checking out? I've been on hold for 45 minutes now waiting to purchase $5 kids pj's. I'm so tired! And Target has the absolute worst on hold message. Ugh!

I ordered something a couple of years ago with a rebate and you had to print the rebate for it. I didn't print one and went in the store and they were out of the forms. So make sure you print the form if that is how they still do it.

Either. I have the debit card and I registered online and I got the early black friday sale info. It says it starts Wednesday, but no time. I'll be checking in until it goes live. Hoping I can skip going to Target Thanksgiving night! Thanks for posting this!

I also hate the Thursday night opening time. Last year there were so many young teens that were never out before. The line at Belk was wrapped around the store. In years past it was less than a quarter of that length. Also, I enjoy having a glass of wine with my family and spending time with them. I don't want to miss out on family time just to go shopping. And I haven't seen anything in the ads to make it worthwhile either. This year I think I'll enjoy Thanksgiving, do some online shopping, sleep a bit and then maybe go out in the early morning or whenever I feel like going out. I have also been stashing gifts for my kids away all year and have a pretty good start. I think this will be a mostly online shopping year for me.

Looking for a deal on the iTunes gift cards. Just found out that is what my nephews want after passing on several deals on them over BF. I'm wondering if I can purchase $50 worth and get the $10 gc at Target. I'll buy them for them, I just have a hard time full price for something without feeling weird about it anymore.

Oh no! I feel for you. I am trying to figure out what to send my inlaws too. Hoping to find something on Amazon for the free shipping since they are out of state. We sent my fil an ice bucket last year because they have a fridge with a bottom drawer in a very narrow kitchen and no ice maker. Would love to send them a toaster this year because they are always burning the toast in their toaster oven, but they love their oven. Think I'm going to have the kids make some ornaments and send some pics of the kids along with whatever we decide to send them. Good luck!

Love this thread! My 6 yo son has asked for a Hickory Farms gift box for the last three years ever since my dh got one as an office present. He loves it. I bought the sausage, cheese and mustard separately this year for our tree decorating and he was upset that it wasn't in a box. I tried to explain that you get more when you buy them out of the box and he still was a little upset about it. I guess Santa will buy the actual box for Christmas.

We also have an "Elfie" the Elf. My sil sent him to us three years ago. My kids love him. He makes his appearance after we get our Christmas tree decorated. I had a terrible scare last weekend when I couldn't find him. We had just decorated the tree and the kids were soo excited that Elfie would be here in the morning. I looked for him on the top shelf in my bedroom closet where he has been living and he wasn't there! Two hours later and almost in tears, I found him in a piece of luggage that never gets used. I guess last Christmas Eve was a little hectic and I thought it would be a safe place for him. I was never so happy to see an elf before. My husband thinks we need a spare elf now just in case this happens again. I may see if I can find one after Christmas. It would be nice to have one for each of my kids so they can share them with their own families later. I wish they made different elves though. One child in my son's K class brought in a picture of his elf...also Elfie...and my son didn't stop talking about it for days. And the little girls next door to us just got the same elf and actually had him in their hands...you aren't supposed to touch him he might lose his magic. My son suggested we loan them our book so that they know the rules and don't touch him again. : ) A couple of days ago my kids were arguing in the yard and I snuck in the house and moved Elfie, came back outside and pretended to see Elfie peeking through the Christmas tree branches. The kids ran in the house and Elfie had moved! They really got excited about that. Now he moves just a little bit whenever I can safely do it without them walking in on me. My dd thought she saw him looking out the window at her yesterday and ran inside and saw that he had moved again. They tell him every night where he should be in the morning and when they wake up he's there. I just love our elf!
