  1. Thank you! I'll check there. Definately want a comfortable mattress for her. Its going to cost so much more for their care now that they are being split up. I'm hoping to save some $ somewhere.
  2. My grandparents are both living with Alzheimers disease. Until a couple of days ago they were sharing a room in an assisted living home. Unfortunately, my grandfather has suffered a stroke and is no longer able to share a room with his wife. My grandma will be moving into a smaller room and we need to find a twin mattress for her. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good price on a decent mattress. I'm not sure of the budget yet since my mom will be buying it, but I'd like to help her find a deal. Thank you so much!
  3. Thanks again for posting this! I thought I was out of luck when I saw that they were restocking the area that had the Duraflames with fans. I even asked if they had them somewhere else and they said they were sold out. I found one lone box back by the grills. It was out of the system so I asked someone I'd seen earlier with a price gun if he could confirm the price was 4.98. He didn't have the gun anymore and said that sounded right and to just tell the cashier that he said that was the price. I was so excited to find at least one box. I would have bought more if they still had them, but next year I'll know to look out for them. My dollar spot was only 50% today, but I found some Toy Story stickers and colored pencils, Disney Cars stickers, tattoos and dry erase boards. On one of the toy endcaps I found a bug magnifier jar by Play Wonder that had a bunch of plastic bugs, magnifying glass and tweezers included. I thought I'd wait for further markdowns on it, but ds was with me and he really liked it and there were only a couple left. ####Bug Magnifier Jar Set by Play Wonder was 7.99 now 5.58
  4. I have picked up a lot of great books at Goodwill. I've found books that look brand new. Especially the board books. I've found almost all the Dr Suess and Sandra Boynton books there. And they were something like 2-3 books for a buck. I can't remember the exact price on their kids books, but it was a really great deal. Also agree the library book sale is good as well as yard sales. You really can find some real gems if you look.
  5. Last week I found a left over package of Disney Cars 3 pack from the 75% of sale last month that was also out of their system. I remembered how much I'd paid for them and thought I'd give it a shot and try and purchase them anyway. The guy at the register had one of those small scanners in his belt and it came up with the price I'd paid before. So its worth a shot.
  6. Wow! Thanks for posting this! Dh and I love to have a fire outside on the weekends. 4.98 for Duraflame logs is an awesome deal! I can't wait to see if my Target has those on clearance tomorrow!
  7. Easter this year is April 12th. Last year it was the end of March I believe. Its always either in March or April. I am not really sure how it is decided what month it'll be in. They do have Easter in the same aisles as the Vday stuff. But I'm not sure when it gets set out. I noticed there are more of those Value Packs being set out in some of the empty aisles. This is my first year really paying attention:)
  8. You have to go often and watch for clearance. When it goes on clearance it goes pretty quick! That's why this thread is so helpful. It helps me to know what to stalk. I am fortunate to have a Target less than 10 mins from my house and close to my fav grocery store. If you only spent $20 at 90% then you did great. You saved $180! Not too shabby for spending 30 mins in the store.
  9. I picked up a package of Hotwheels after Easter a couple of years ago that were inside of giant Easter eggs. And they weren't Easter themed inside. I found them at Goodwill before I followed Target's clearance.
  10. Thanks! Ds is only 3 and I debated buying it anyway. Glad I didn't now.:)
  11. The Color Wonder pack I found yesterday was small with 15 pages and 3 pens. I bought the Disney Cars version for something like $1.49. They were 5.99. I also saw Diego, Tinkerbell, and Color Explosions packs. Anyone know why the Color Explosions says ages 6+? The Color Wonder says 3+. ***** After digging my receipt out I see they were $1.24 were 4.99 ####081040193 Crayola Color Wonder Disney Cars Pack 1.24
  12. I think these weren't part of the V-day clearance, but down the aisle of crayola/craft stuff. I saw a bunch of these today in Mt Pleasant SC.
  13. I was just going to post this too. I bought one small Disney Cars color wonder set for 75% off, but there was a lot of other stuff 30-50% off. Also found Burt's Bee's chapstick 50% off...$1.50ish. And the wristlets w/ 2 lip balms were also 50% off. There were further markdowns on the softsoap 3 packs...around a $1.50 now. Mt. Pleasant, SC
  14. I got a coupon booklet from Target recently that had coupons for baby in it. It sounds like what you are describing. I'm not a Target CC holder and I'm not sure why some people get their mailings and others don't. I do use my debit card and credit card usually so maybe they got my address that way. You can also print coupons off their website.
  15. Thanks for the coupon! I used it at CVS yesterday and although it wouldn't scan, the cashier gave me $3 off anyway. I had dh print it for me at work so it should have been a good copy. Don't know what happened. I bought 2packages of Pampers and used 2 $1 off coupons. Also bought 3 V-day cards and a soda. I used $11 ECB's and paid $19 oop and saved $36 plus got $3 ECB's for the cards! I was thrilled! I love CVS!
  16. I just read on another deal site that several people have found someone with a price gun to check the price on some of the GB stuff and its been coming up 75% off even though its marked 50%. So anyone waiting for a particular item to go to 75% may want to see if this will work for you as well. There were several different people posting that this worked for them and on every item they scanned. Just starting to see some posts on GB being marked at 75% off in some stores. I don't even really want anything that bad and yet I feel the need to check it out! Must fight the urge!!!
  17. I don't remember ever seeing grills at Target. Are they at both SuperTarget and Targets? We really need to replace our propane grill. Will have to keep an eye on these. Thanks for the heads up!
  18. I got a mailer today with coupons for baby. Not sure how I got those. Also on Targets website at the bottom of the first page it says Grocery Coupons. Here's a link to the coupons out now... http://sites.target.com/site/en/supertarget/page.jsp?title=coupons_specials
  19. Yes. As long as one is a Target coupon and the other is a manf coupon. I think there is a $2 off Aveeno coupon out there somewhere, but I only had the $1 manf + $1 Target. $2 off would have made it free of course, but I was happy w/ .99. I found the Aveeno in the baby section on an endcap near the diapers and wipes. There is also Aveeno lotion there too for 4.99 so be careful to grab the right one.
  20. Our Target in Mt Pleasant, SC had wipes 30% last week. Not many clearance diapers left though. I managed to get 2 boxes of wipes. I bought the advertised diapers today...19.99 a box, buy 2 get a $5 gc. Also got a mailer from Target w/ a $1 off Huggies coupon + a $1.50 off Huggies coupon. The Aveeno baby Shampoo/wash w/ bonus lotion was $2.99 and I had a $1 off cpn in the mailer+ $1 off from Sunday's paper. Also found lots of candles and candle holders clearanced at 75%. I bought the Flameless Votives 2 pk for $2.24.
  21. Okay, twice now I've entered my finds with dcpi #'s and 2x my computer crashed before I could post...grrr. Darn virus!
