Wondering if anyone knows if Best Buy will give a store credit without a receipt or a gift receipt? I got a bunch of DVDs in a grab bag that I'll never watch. On their website it says you have to have a receipt, but I know other stores say that, too, but will give a store credit for a limited number of returns per year (like Target, Wal Mart). TIA for anyone who can share their experiences.
I tried to return the Batman The Dark Knight Blu-ray a week or so ago without a receipt. They would not take it back without a receipt. This was the Downingtown, PA store.

Hmm they have a 32" 1080P LCD for $399. That's a really good deal.
Has anyone waited in line at Microcenter before? How early do I need to be there to get this deal?

From the site: "Your coupon code will be entered automatically and you will see the price reduction during checkout."
Just tried it and it worked for me.

Be careful of them. They have an F rating through the BBB:

Guys look at this:
*No coupon needed for this week's special.
Not valid with any other offers or coupons. Offer valid July 20-21, 2007. Only at participating retail locations in: AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, LA, MS, MO, NC, NE, OR, TN, UT, and Fairview Heights, IL. Not valid on gift certificates or catering orders. While supplies last.
So not at mine in Michigan. I did call them before reading this(which is at the bottom of the ad on honeybakedonline.com) and they are not doing it nor have they heard of it.
Dang it. I was hoping mine was doing the promotion (even though my state is not on the list), but I won't even bother calling them now.

Thank you for the link. What you provided me did work, but just looking around on their web site, under the small business/smart values, there is the same machine with double the memory (1Gig) and a 16X DVD/RW for only $20 more. It is listed right beside the deal that Brad has posted and it is good until 6/27/2007. After comparing everything, I think it is worth the $20. If I configured the aforementioned deal with the same features, it drives the price to $519 ----- that's $100 more! I have been looking for a while since my machine is an 533MHz Emachine (and yes I've been very happy with it and have had NO problems). Office Depot has an eMachine in our local paper for $249 (no monitor) after $350 in rebates that I was going to go get, but I might just get the Dell instead.
Dude, I'm getting a Dell!
I think the one you found DID NOT include the monitor.

I've been seeing a commercial for Six Flags season passes for 44.95. Each pass comes with 6 guest passes to be used on certain days.
I can't get the website to load very well, and I can't find where passes are 44.95. I know there has to be a catch to this, because that means I could take the entire family twice for less than $50.
Does anyone know how this works? Is there only one guest pass redemable per season pass per visit? Are they only valid on a Tuesday from 7 am to 8 am, or some other catch like that?
What is the website link or promo code?

Here's the online site that you can fill out the form, and they will send you a 10% off coupon:

Anyone going to Best Buy this morning??
If your not there by now, forget it.
I stopped by Circuit City an hour before they opened and there were a ton of people in line.
The Target store by me had 24 units (they opened at 8 AM), and they were gone by the time they opened.
This is getting ridiculous.

Why not? People that work at Target & Kohls post here all the time giving us heads up on deals and answering questions. Maybe he just flies a lot and checks Sprits website a lot and shares what he finds. From $39 each way sounds like a deal worth sharing to me.
There's a fine line between posting deals, and advertising. They key words are "From $39". Almost nobody actually gets these seats. And by the time you add in all the taxes, fees, etc., its more like double the price.

Is he not allowed to post about it if he works there? Just curious.
Michelle
Honestly I have no idea. I would hope that the answer would be no.
The guy has five posts and three of them are about Spirit's so called "deals".

Thanks! I was thinking the same way about still renting the few times that we would go to the slopes and then have this for playing around at home.
Definitely the best approach for now. If he does get more involved, you can then think about stepping up to a more advanced board.
Glad I could help!

I've been told that the board should be about about chin height. But I found this info which is interesting:
To find the correct length for you, start by comparing it to your height. When holding the board on its end, a short board will come up somewhere between your collar bones and chin. Because shorter boards are easier to maneuver, they are great to learn on and are preferred by riders who do a lot of trick, park and pipe riding.
A medium length board standing on end will come up between your chin and nose. This length is for the all around intermediate to advanced rider who may ride a variety of terrain, including parks and steeps.
Long boards go from eye-level to several inches over the top of the head. Long boards are for high-speed carving, deep powder and big mountain terrain.
In your son's case, a 150cm board should be short-medium. This should be fine.
If he's mostly playing in the backyard, then this board is perfect for that. However, if he's planning on taking it to the slopes, then this is probably not the right fit. That said - If he goes to the slopes maybe once or twice a year, I would rent instead of bringing this board. While I'm not familiar with the construction of the board, it probably not durable enough for the slopes. And I'm guessing that the binding maybe lesser quality too. You want really good bindings as you don't want to worry about them braking while your going down the slope.
I've migrated over the years to the snap-in bindings. They are much easier to use on the slopes and you don't have to lay down to snap in. However, you have to use a more traditional ski boot. Hopefully this info helps.

Would this board be good for a 15 year old beginner? Will regular snow boots work or will I have to buy special ones?
Lots of questions.
Where will the board be primary used? (Slopes or the backyard)
How tall is the person that will be using it?
Have they snowboarded before? - If so where?
From the looks of it, you can use regular snow boots. I can provide more general help with additional detail from you.

I have had the Memphis Dry Rub ribs on this promotional deal.
I love Chili's, but there was absolutely no meat on these ribs at all.
The taste was good, but they were dry.
I totally agree. Dry and almost no meat. I was disappointed.

I only checked the 3 stores I grace with my presence (TFIC) from time to time:
T5212 - In stock in New Orleans, Norfolk and Limited Qtys in Newport News.
T5048 - In stock - all three...
Well your lucky then. Philadelphia area has none. Nor does 08756, 48098, 55416, 90210

Good luck getting either of these PC's. Both are listed out of stock for in-home delivery. I can't even find a CompUSA store locally that has them either.
