Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2010

KC-Traderbear: Were the cleats pink & black, or a choice of pink or black? I have boys, so no pink for us. -
Kmart Trio King's Castle Reg. $78.99 NOW w/c $19.99

Sarasuzymama... there are Trio stocking stuffers at Target?? What are they like? (What's included/price?) -
Lego Coast Guard Patrol Boat $30 at Walmart

I found this deal today at my WM... finally! It was set in a special section of toys that looks like it's special for BF... in the same area where our store normally puts the clearance. -
$5.00 off coupon for Target (prints at registers)
kansasteacher replied to queenkishaa's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Hmmm... I spent some $ at Target today and I know the cashier handed me something else with my receipt. Now, I need to go see what it was! :) -
I like to buy Imaginext toys at Kohl's when they offer the special packs, as mentioned above. If you buy it during a sale, and use an extra code/coupon as suggested, it's probably one of the best deals (since you didn't get it at Kmart for $29... I bought the Dragon Fortress for $29 during that sale and I'm soooo glad I did). My kids have the Batcave. They are both boys, ages going on 7 and going on 4. I'd say it gets played with 4 out of 7 days a week.

Warning: Virus while looking for BF ads (not on GD)
kansasteacher replied to jerseygurl's topic in 2009
I had a similar experience a few months ago when searching for a toy my son wanted... often the viruses "get in" when you click on the fake "virus alert" pop-up box that appears. Should you get one of those, the best thing to do is CTRL-ALT-DEL, go the task manager, and shut down your web browser from there. Reopen your browser and choose "go to home page" NOT "restore last session" and you may be able to avoid getting another one of those viruses. -
Hello all. I didn't do a lot of online BF shopping last year, but with all of the stores changing their normal opening times (for example, this midnight-1AM DB stuff at TRU), I may have to alter my strategy. Does anyone know if the TRU Mid-1AM DB will be available online?

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009

I live near KC,KS and would love to get a Star Wars Didj... ! -
It really depends on the kind of F-P toys; I have never seen the F-P shopping cart there (otherwise I would have bought it at Kohl's rather than Toys R Us). I've never looked for doll strollers because I have two boys, but I'm going to make a guess and say that they won't have that either. Kohl's usually has a large selection of infant/toddler F-P toys (peek-a-blocks, shape sorters, the Elmo Giggle-n-whatever line); for boys, they have some F-P Imaginext stuff.

If I were a stadium full of thousands of screaming fans, I'd stand up and do the wave! You're the best, Brad!

MatchBox Mega Rig Space Shuttle
kansasteacher replied to sassyaztec's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Well... that all depends. How old is your son? -
My husband and I both have Zunes. Microsoft has their own downloadable content site, the Zune Marketplace, but I'm into indie rock bands, so I get a lot of stuff from eMusic.
-
I have found that my sons (now ages almost 6 and almost 3) have had the easiest time and most fun with the Geotrax. They can put it together by themselves - a plus for busy parents!

meinnj - Yes! I use mine every year on BF! :)
-
And, just to make it more confusing, in the K-Mart ad for Black Friday there are actually sale items/prices that are only Saturday morning doorbusters!
-
The coupon is only for Kohl's Charge Card customers. They're mailed out frequently, with one always falling during the time period of BF. This year's extra 15% coupon is for Nov. 13-Nov. 30, or something like that. Mine arrived in the mail about three days ago. If you don't have Kohl's Charge you won't be eligible for the extra 15%.
-
Kohl's will most likely be my first stop again this year... and I do buy toys, because just as Rockfordmom said, it's the 50%, plus the 15%, then the Kohl's Cash that makes it worth my while. I'd really like to get a look at the Toys R Us ad; still waiting for that one...

Black Friday vs. Lowest Prices of the Season sale...
kansasteacher replied to mm54321's topic in 2008
I generally like to get a few toys at Kohl's on BF because they are usually advertised at 60% if you get there and check out before 1PM, plus I use my pick-a-day coupon and get another 15% off on top of the 60%. -
Ummm... neither. We use whipped cream made from scratch with whipping cream, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla extract. Triple yum. :)

Ripn - Thanks for posting that matrix link. I have RB2 - the full kit - on my Xmas list because I play the drums and want the new kit and then also the madcatz cymbal add-ons that AaronOnline mentioned. My husband has GHWT on his Xmas list... he originally said to get him the game + guitar, but if the RB2 kit will be compatible on the PS3, then I only need to buy him the game, which means I should get to save $$$. :)

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008

Stacya - I have actually picked up FIVE of those Planet Heroes action figures for my two little boys... They're labeled "Temporary Price Cut" because I think, as you mentioned, Fisher-Price has released "new" versions of these toys... once Target stocks the "new" versions they'll be 9.99 again. But I shopped at several different Targets to pick up the five that I found. :) -
Saw a TON of games on top of shelves at my Target today.....
kansasteacher replied to Mugglemom's topic in 2008
I was in a SuperTarget last week and spotted lots of Little People Barns and Busy Day Homes up on the high shelves in the toy department... it didn't occur to me until I'd already headed up to the checkout that I probably should have kept my head up and looked at the tops of more aisles. When I went to my nearest Target (not a SuperTarget) to snoop up high I discovered to my dismay that they don't have the high shelves! -
Thanks for posting this! :) I was starting to think I had posted something inappropriately, and that's why my post had been removed...
