  1. I called and placed my order while on the phone. Initially he said place the order and he would forward it, and if it was not credited within 2 hours to call back to cancel. Then after I ordered he said he was forwarding the order and I would get a response within 24 hours. I then got upset because that is not what he initially said, and I had even repeated the info back. So I asked for a supervisor, while waiting for a supervisor, he came back and asked me to check the order. Well, lo and behold it was adjusted to 99.99 shipped! Woo Hoo! I got Kota for 99.99 shipped! I am ecstatic. Hubby is even thrilled! This is going to be a great Christmas!
  2. thanks! got 1! perfect for traveling and sleepovers!

  4. I happened to see some more little kid like toys at Target today, they were the parents brand.
  5. Does he mean a ripstick racer? Google the name and show him the pic to see if that is what he means. They are on sale at TRU starting today.
  6. I was first in line at my Gymbo, and it opened at 8am, and I got there at 7:50. There were only a few coats, and I was able to grab 4. I for my soon to be baby for next year, one for my step daughter, and one for my friend's daughter. They went pretty quick. The place filled up fast and I did hear a lot of people asking for their hold stuff. I ended up buying quite a bit. Dropped 257 when it was all said and done!
  7. OMG- I got there at 4:30am and there must have been 1000 people in line, no exageration. I started to get in line, but called hubby to tell him to just buy the portable dvd players I wanted online as I already had them in my shopping cart, just in case. As I was walking back to my car they opened the doors and I was able to sneak in with the first group of people. I ran (more like fast waddled) my way to the back and grabbed them, and then walked through the toy section grabbing the things I wanted, and then headed for the slippers and pjs which I ended up not liking. I then went and checked out with no wait, and was in my car by 5:13 am. They were still letting people in then, the line was that bad. It was just a madhouse. I then headed to the mall and did all of my shopping there. About 12:30 I stopped by another Walmart to check on some stuff for some friends that had missed out on stuff at theirs (1 went at 7am and another about 9am-different walmarts), and I was able to get them everything they wanted (leapsters and doll playset) besides finding a DVD player (since they had not told me before). I was able to grab some DVDs then since I stayed clear of that area in my 1st trip as it looked horrendous! Even still, this one was very very busy.
  8. We stopped at IHOP for breakfast and they had one I was able to take. Yippee, except no target ad, and a bunch of ads that I don't need as we are in NJ but going back to RI tonite for tommorrow.
  9. My hubby made a good point that after their markup on stuff this is not costing them much money to do, and it also may spur spending on the site in the next week. They did do this just in time for the BF/CM online deals. So, they give us $25 to get us to go spend more!
  10. No expiration date on mine. But, here in RI it is illegal to have an expiration date or charge fees on giftcards.
  11. I called and complained. I even called corporate guest services. I called like 5 times about it. My friend who complained just checked and she did not get one yet either, but I am wondering if they are being sent out in waves just like the cancellations were. I did threaten legal action, and there is wording that if I use it, I release them. Here is part of it: Target.com strives to offer you the best value and accurate prices on all of our merchandise. Our teams will continue to monitor our pricing systems to ensure we deliver the experience you should expect from Target. Although our online pricing policy was followed, we know you were disappointed when your order was cancelled. As an apology for your experience, we'd like to provide you a $25 e-GiftCard to use on Target.com. Please use the following unique e-GiftCard number when placing your next order By redeeming this e-GiftCard, you acknowledge full satisfaction and release of any claims against Target relating to this pricing error. As a valued guest, your business is very important to us. It’s our hope to be given the opportunity to serve you again as a Target.com guest. Just in time for the BF online sales! Nice!
  12. Just got an email for Target.com with a $25 e-giftcard to apologize for the pricing error and cancellation of my Britax order! Woo Hoo! That makes up for it somewhat!
  13. Last weekend the Step 2 Home depot Workshop was on sale for 100 down from 150. picked that one up then, haven't seen it on sale for anywhere this week,
  14. Hey all- Stopped in to get a few things this AM, and on every door entering they had a Blitz Map taped up showing where all of the items will be. It had the store number on it, so I think each store may be unique (I have 6 Walmarts within a 15 minute drive of me and they all have different layouts to begin with). So, I say check it out. I know my portable DVD players will be in sporting goods. They were also out in the parking lot unloading the 18 wheel trailers of pallets of stuff. There were tons of managers around and lots of talk about being ready for Friday. FYI- This is not a 24 hour store, we only have one of those in the state and it's the furthest store from me.
  15. I just grabbed them one of my stores as well, as she was marking them 75% off. Also, Cars Color Wonder 3D glitter kits. There was one, and it was sitting on another endcap and I saw the red 50% tag so i walked it over to her, and asked her, and she scanned and priced it at 75% off, so 2.48 for the kit. I then went down the Crayola aisle and saw more of them not marked down at all. So, brought them to a scanner and a bunch of them (though not all) scanned at 75% off. It seemed some of the barcodes had barcode stickers over them, and those were the ones marked down. I didn't see any difference in packaging. So, check and scan them! I got them for my kids and also the the kids I adopted for Christmas. She was marking the Halloween scrapbook clearance stuff at 75% as well, but we don't celebrate Halloween so I didn't grab any of it.
  16. Also, on tru site they posted an unadvertised circular for Friday and the last page has BRU stuff on it. Check it out.

    Price Changes

I think some states have "loss leader" laws, where they can not take a loss on items, or something like that.
  18. Thanks! I needed the Star Wars Costumes for a child I adopted for Holidays! I was going to avoid TRU on Friday but looks like I will stop in for these. Hope I can get them!
  19. I'm not lazy by any means, and I plan to be in Walmart at 5am like everyone else. I just am 34 weeks pregnant and can not move as quickly as others. I also live in an urban area, and it is crowded, and people will not care if I am pregnant, they will push me right to the side. So, my thought was I do my best to get the 1 bigger item, the dvd player, and then I could just grab the other stuff, like the pjs/slippers I had put away already in my kids sizes, so that I don't get elbowed in my pregnant belly trying to find their sizes. It was more of an idea of keeping safe, not being lazy.
  20. I know the blitz items won't be out, but I was thinking like the pjs, slippers, etc. The only blitz item I want would be the portable dvd players. But, bigjim made me feel bad so I killed the idea. I was just trying to save time and energy (I'm 34 weeks preggo), but I would not want to feel like fraud (I'm a pastor's wife, very sensitive concious).
  21. My friend got one in the mail today but I did not. On another note, while talking with my local gymbo manager he said they will also have out the famous red clearance bins. Not sure if all stores will, but I am excited!
  22. So, I was thinking of heading into Walmart late Wednesday and "hiding" some stuff. That way I can go in, grab the big item I want (2 portable dvd players), and then grab my stashed stuff quickly, and check out. Just wondering where a good place to hide stuff would be. I feel a little weird doing it. But, if I do, I was wondering where a good place to hide the stuff would be. Like, I was thinking behind boxes of diapers (not on sale, and would someone really head there for these that morning? LOL). I'm not getting much, so it's not a huge stash, it's more for ease of getting in and out quickly. LOL. KWIM?
  23. $49 DVD players 2 of them $4 pjs (2 sets) $4 slippers (2 pair) $9 kung fu panda $7 rubbermaid sotrage set $8 Crayola ultimate art studio- 2 of them $15 thomas aqua doodle $16 lego star wars ds game
  24. I'm a member and I have not gotten it in the mail. I'm hoping to get it on Monday.
  25. I need to get 2 of the portable dvd players for $49. But both old navy and walmart open at 5am so I am having a struggle over where to go first. uuugghh.
