I bought 5 coats for $80 +tax, 2 for me and one for each of my 3 nieces. Not sure if I'm going to attempt to go for sweaters or not since I won't get out of church until after 12. Our store had quite a few people in it right at noon waiting to check out (I walked in the store at 11:55), but no one was pushing or snatching things off racks. Very civilized. I checked out about 12:30 and only 2 people were ahead of me in line.

I did, but they felt kind of thin.

I ordered a Denali for my DH a few weeks ago. It came super fast and does indeed appear to be the real deal. I paid $99.95 notax no shipping.

The $39.xx is the "regular" price on them at Walmart now, so I don't think Amazon will go back up. I'm hoping for at least $29.99 before I bite.

I got the Delta Glenwood changing table (well DH did) for $23.xx, a baby bouncer with farm animals on it for $15.xx, girls Circo jeans for $1.74, girls circo legginga for $1.24 (I think), and girls Circo tank tops for $1.48 (I think). I was so excited b/c one of my good friends is expecting and i was looking for an amazing (cheap) gift for her.

saw a britax roundabout for $77.98 in kingsport, tn for anybody looking (I don't need one). It was kind of hidden behind the other clearance stuff, and I didn't see a tag on it. I just price checked it.

I kind of thought this too. I figured if it was tomorrow,we would have heard from the Wednesday stores today.

I was just at our store. Baby stuff was 25% off (Ours is one of those strange stores that isn't doing 30% off any more). Nothing at 50%. I went ahead and bought a changing table. Only 2 left and can't go check next week. I figure I can always re-purchase and return if necessary.

Interesting. Virtually NOTHING went to 50% much less 75% at our store. It's all still at 25% off. To bad b/c I would have purchased at 50% since I can't go for the next 2 Thursdays.

Our store has changed from 30% off clearance prices to 25% off. This isn't just in the toy section but store wide. Has anybody else noticed this in their store? Im concerned that the toys won't go to 75% b/c of this change. i just don't know what to expect. Also, what is the projected date for the toy sale the 21st or the 28th? My DD's bday is the 21st and she wants to go to an amusement park for the day so there is no way I can stalk toys on the 21st.

Can you tell me which ones? Our store almost never has books marked.

Never. I've seen toys sit on the shelf for over a year without being marked down further. But YMMV.

Just this evening I found a Video Barbie girl sitting on the clearance shelf w/ no sticker at all on it. I told my DSis "I'm sure this is in the wrong place, but let's scan it." To my surprise, it scanned $11! I don't remember anybody posting about it, so yay for me!

I found an Our Generation pop up doll house for $14.98. The box was pretty torn up and the clearance sticker was wrong, but it was for my own DD so we thought we'd give it a try. Not Christmas related, but a lot of makeup is clearanced to 50% or 75% off. Look for red or pink stickers (75% off) or yellow stickers (50% off.) Also CVS is running a special on Physician's Formula makeup. Take $7 off powder, concealer, blush, and something else I can't remember. I found twin concealers regular price $7.79. I scanned them and sure enough rang up $.79. The cashier was like "did you know those were on sale?" I said "Yes, there's a sign back there."

Interesting. I didn't get an email confirmation or any of that stuff either. I just figured "Oh well. I guess the order didn't go through." I don't remember the exact date, but I got my order like mid-December AND I got everything I ordered w/o any problem. I don't think I ordered crew socks though.

I think they usually go the 3rd Thursday after Christmas. I'm sure someone has a chart somewhere saying when it's been in the past.
